How is this game so good, and yet so unpopular. It's the only game of its kind on the market, and its very polished (as good looking as LoL or Fortnite), yet its dying miserably. As soon as I saw this game I bought it and started playing it, I had been waiting for a game exactly like this (moba br) for a long time before it actually came out, and I'm sure other people had been too. *So where are all those people.* Because they sure as hell aren't on the game. How can a game this polished, and this groundbreaking (moba br) go so underplayed. Its criminal. The only think I can think of is that Stunlock is destroying their own game with shitty business decisions just like they did with the regular battlerite. I literally supported the shit out of this game, I bought a copy early access for myself, as well as gifting the game to multiple friends (4 or 5) so ive spent $100+ on this game already. I was so hyped I wanted all my moba and br friends to try it out with me (it was gonna be the moba br that we could all play, a combination of our favorite genres) That was in November/December and ever since then I have watched day by day as the game fell to its knees and planted its face in the dirt. I have been wanting to play brr everyday for months now, but everyday I check the steam charts and see this game barely getting over 100 players online (about 3 games worth of people if Stunlock doesnt bot the games). AKA its dead as fuck. Its honestly sad. I want to play it so bad, but I watch day by day as the game creeps closer and closer to its death. *Do something Stunlock.* I want to play your game so bad, but you're slowly choking it to death.
Free to play has brought players back to the game, its fun and playable again, but hopefully it stays this way. The amount of monetization stunlock is doing to this game is fucking disgusting though. God forbid they'd actually throw a bone to any of the people who have been supporting the game up till now. The entire game's model now is (here's what you get for free- nothing) (here's what you get if you give us more money-the stuff we've been using your money to develop. Am I the only seeing how fucked that is? Like if I buy a battlepass *this season* - that money will go towards developing the shit on the next battlepass *which I will have to pay for again next season.* This seasons battlepass was developed with the money I spent on the early access version of the game (last season). Their shitty conman business model promotes the idea that I should literally pay them twice for everything. Like fuck you stunlock, how bout you actually use the money were giving you to promote the game more so that it actually has a chance at developing the playerbase it deserves so it can be a consistently playable game. SLS- "Heres what weve been fucking around on- skins, mounts, weapons, and if you dont pay us AGAIN (after already paying us $100+ in early access) you dont get any of it" "oh but we edited the map a little" "oh but we added a bunch of op champs that everyone can spam (Lucie, Shen Rao, Poloma 2.0 anyone). Oh and we didnt do jack shit balancing - which youve been complaining about for months. Like honestly this developer is retarded. As good as the game is, they just cant get a fucking grip on how to make a successful game. Theyre reaching too far into my pockets and they can go fuck themselves at this point. They've had more than enough chances to make things right. And at every turn they pull some pubg corp bullshit. I'm done giving charity to you SLS, make it right or fuck off. You don't need money you need a playerbase, if you can't see that then you'll be broke by the end of this year.
