I'm currently in the middle of an injury case with my lawyer. I didn't go to the hospital right away after my accident because I was afraid of that happening. My back was hurting though, so I first went to the injury lawyer the day after my accident. I was talking to them about that, because they scheduled me on certain treatments and MRI but I explain it to them before I signed the papers. That I don't want my medical bills to pass my settlement and they made sure that it won't because they're getting a portion of the settlement as well which will be their form of payment.
So basically you gotta talk to your lawyer about making sure all your medical bills are paid for.

My Dr told me my own insurance is covering my bill from the accident I was inn . But my attorney said there’s a certain $ amount. Now that the bill is covered does that $ amount go back into my settlement?
