+Sunny Dhanoa You don't slide on a home run... Bautista was hit by a pitch and took first base on his last at bat against the Rangers this season(because of his bat flip in last seasons playoffs). Bautista was upset at the timing of it, so on the next hit by his teammate he slid past second base aiming for Odor.
you cannot comment this on a canadian youtube channel and expect actual unbiased answers. so let me give you a real explanation. rangers played the jays in a playoff series, rangers blew the series and bautista hit the huge go ahead home run in a game that already had tons of emotions both sides. jose hit the homer and did this huge bat flip and the internet went insane. (obviously) the rangers players and fans didn't like, and the bat flip is kinda the "fu" move in baseball. so next season (this year) jays and rangers were playing, they kinda have this little rivalry between them, fans don't like each other and the players don't like each other. jose was pegged and while he was on base he had a hard slide into 2nd and when he stood up he had a staredown with odor, and odor (who's kinda a young hot head) punched bautista and the internet went insane again. and that really is it, the only reason its such a big deal is because baseball is really a no contact sport. and the other replies on this channel are offensively dumb to sport please stop watching
