Fair Trade of Wayuu Bags by Talento Colectivo

In the Caribbean coast of Colombia, in sthe Guajira region, a group of more than 50 indigenous women from the wayuu community gather to set up a Fair Trade process. To face the negative impact of massive commercialization, fair trade provides a solution to the welfare of people.
Tejidos Vitales Project of Talento Colectivo Foundation is a project that gives different opportunities to a group of artisan women from the wayuu community, in order to make them feel distinguished from the widespread growth of their work; consequently, they can create different answers and proposals by themselves and so create new opportunities for their families through their handicrafts.
