I don't know where the idea of a 1981 Atari 2600 version came from, but apparently it does not exist? There is 1982 version for Atari 8 bit though. The idea of it being ported and Atari origins still stays. I must have confused it with some other game 😅
This looks like a fun game. I have my Mega65 booting up by default in C64 mode. So far I've found every C64 game I've tried seems to work without issues. Going to play through Sword of Fargoal this weekend. Thanks for the video!
Oh cool, you just loaded the C64 core in the FPGA slot 1? That's another way to use the machine I guess! I do hope the internal drive becomes available in a future C64 core update, so we can access diskettes. That would bridge the experience for sure!
@@LevelUpWithJeffrey I put the C64 core into slot two with slot one being the mega65 core. However, since I'm in the C64 core 90% of the time I just made it the default so it boots into it on start-up. Yes, diskette support for the C64 core would be great!
Ah of course. I only very recently updated the FPGA selection menu to have these options for default on boot and default on cartridges. Good that is a thing now. The r3 batch didn't ship with that. If it was possible to do with some key combination I don't know.

Thing is, this whole RUclips platform is a bit of a balancing act when it comes to these things nowadays. These titles seem to help the videos on a new channel get seen better. But in no means are they great titles and who knows, maybe you're right and taming it down a notch would even help more. I don't know, maybe finding some middle ground on it. I'm just in a testing phase here.
