    This was an amazing interview of an experience from different witnesses. We are very thankful for their service. Thanks so much for preserving their accounts for the history of their service.

    As a former skydiver, those boys had worked it out in their heads months before that day. They were not staying with the ship if there were problems on takeoff PERIOD

    You can't imagine the horror these men put up with. USA and the RAF suffered over 50,000 dead. Hard to comprehend .

    500 ft??? I've jumped before and your shoot ain't going to open very much. That guy was right, they were very lucky.

    I'm really enjoying your videos Raymond McFalone! They deserve to be in the Smithsonian...
    I don't really understand the one question you seem to ask of many of these guys "Are you proud of your service". Why wouldn't they be?

      It's what I call a "red carpet" question. I lay out the red carpet with that question for them to say how they feel about having served in WWII. They get a little philosophical, which is a great way to end the tape. Thanks for watching.
