    はじめまして。
    都内某有名神社で砂利道の上を跳ねないでひたすら歩いているハシブトガラスを見たことあります。
    本当にずっと歩いていました。いつホッピングするのだろうと観察していましたが
    最後にちょこっと跳ねただけでした。

      コメントありがとうございます!ほとんど海外からコメントが入るので、国内コメントで嬉しいです!^ヮ^ なるほど~ カラスたちにも性格と個性があると思いますので何でもあり得ると思いますが、このビデオで自分が茨城県で観察した記録のまとめを紹介しました。歩きたがるハシブトガラスは面白いですね~~ なんか、もっと観察をしたくなりました ^ヮ^ それでは、天気がだめそうですが、良い一週間を

    Andrea! With this video you have thrown me into deep doubt. Now i wonder if all the black Crows i see here in India really are Jungle Crows as i presumed, or if there may be Carrion Crows among them :-/ i have to watch and scrutinize them more carefully for sure! Which is not so easy, as they tend to fly off as soon as they feel the eye of my cam turning on them. They are used to negative attention from the locals. Indian mythology (or religion) sees crows as the vehicle of Shani, i.e. Saturn. Shani is famous for slowing things down and putting obstacles in your way (unless you are totally concentrating on spiritual ways and matters, then you have his full support), so the crows are supposed to convey a message that he is present or coming near, thus they are not welcome. On the other hand crows are the messengers between the living and the spirits of ancestors, therefore they have to be fed on special occasions, or even daily. People will put a part of their meals on the wall of their compound or on the roof of their houses. Crows also have an uncanny connection to water, they will discover any secret source of water and call everyone to share it. A crow even was responsible for the beginning of the flow of our South Indian Ganges, the River Kaveri. (But that crow was actually Ganesha, who disguised Himself in that form)
    Now all that remains for me is to hope that i am giving you as much pleasure with my sermon as you did give me with your video!!! Warmest greetings & A Happy Weekend To You! ♥ Ma

    • @AndreaNature
      @AndreaNature  5 лет назад

      Dear Ma, I was quite satisfied of this video thinking it could be useful, but Your comment is even more interesting!! I checked the distribution of the Carrion Crows and it seems that there are not in India.
      Unfortunately my video will not be very useful there...sigh.. or.. maybe if You spot a Carrion Crow it could be Ganesha!!!!! ^ ^
      Have a lovely weekend with pasta and hugs from Japan! ^ ^
