What an amazing movie. Found it at Dollar Tree for $1 and it's gotta be one of the top movies I've EVER seen. And the soundtrack is spectacular as well. What a lovely discovery.
Everytime i need to chill or if I'm on the road with my wife or my dad I put this song, warms my heart and makes me remember I already am successful and rich for having people who loves me and I love them close to me, near or far❤.
Well, I have been searching all of my days All of my days Many a road, you know, I've been walking on All of my days And I've been tryna find What's been in my mind As the days keep turning into night Well, I have been quietly standing in the shade All of my days I watch the sky breaking on the promise that we made All of this rain And I've been tryna find What's been in my mind As the days keep turning into night Well, many a night I found myself with no friends standing near All of my days I cried aloud, I shook my hands, "What I'm doing here?" All of these days For I look around me And my eyes confound me And it's just too bright As the days keep turning into night And now I see clearly, it's you I'm looking for All of my days So I smile, I know I'll feel this loneliness no more All of my days For I look around me And it seems you've found me And it's coming into sight As the days keep turning into night As the days keep turning into night And even breathing feels all right Yes, even breathing feels all right Now even breathing feels all right Yes, even breathing Feels all right
Everybody is saying that this guy sounds like someone else. The fact is that he is a beautifully simplistic acoustic singer/songwriter. His style combines all the best of what we love about acoustic players and he leaves out all the bad parts. What you are left with is the core essence of acoustic bliss. This core essence can also be found in other musicians we love.
The first time I heard Alexi Murdoch on the Sprint commercial I thought it was a Nick Drake song (I'd never heard before). If you are a Nick Drake (19 June 1948 - 25 November 1974) fan you'd know what a compliment I just gave Alexi! After listening to several songs now I find Alexi refreshing, talented, performer with a pleasant to listen to style that I'll look forward to supporting for years too come I hope!
this song helps me when I feel low it's like the only motivation I have when I'm feeling low and I can't trust anyone enough to help me or when I feel neglected it helps me so much it's so comforting
Michelle you keep your head up ok ! I had To learn to walk and talk again at 46 years old after a brain injury. Listen to Andrea days “rise up” that can help
How come not more people now about this movie? I hate romantic comedies but this one is different. It really speaks to modern couples who are trying to find themselves. One of my favorite movies of all time. This was such a turn for Sam Mendes as a director. Oh yeah, song is great too. I wish this movie was 10 hours long. I can't enough good about it. I just looked up reviews and they were terrible compared to what I was expecting.
I loved the movie. A lot of people didn't like it because they just don't get it. The movie is about people who could be real, while the average rom com is about a bunch of rich people who look like supermodels, and they are trying to find love in the most cliché way.
I have this movie DVD. tried watching it, couldnt get into it. Can you share a few thoughts that might help me give this movie another chance? thank you
2020, and I still listen to this troubadouric song master. Such a beautiful voice, and his guitar makes me weep. I could only wish to play like that. Simple, but pure. Good old fashioned Folk music... I hope no one tells me that he is not the guitar player in his music, because this is the style of music I can play and love... Troubadouric may not be a word, but I think you get my meaning...
I remember watching Real Steel with my Dad and this is the first song that comes to mind about him. It makes me think about how if could have he would have taught me how to comfort your lover. Instead I had to learn that on my own. I missed him whenever he wasn't home but I also hate for not being there for my mother whenever he was out at seas.
I've recently discovered Alexi Murdoch as I was also discovering ''Away We Go'' for wich the majority of the original soundtrack is his work. I think his work suits this movie perfectly and the movie is, I thought, a masterpiece. If you have'nt seen it, I recommend it to the fullest. Alexi Murdoch will, for sure, find a place in my discollection! :)
I first heard this song on "Stargate Universe", and I listen to it every time I feel stressed out. It just calms me like nothing else. Now all I need is a 20 minute extended version. :)
Fantastic movie. Very moving soundtrack. Anyone who hasn't seen it yet is really missing out. I might even go as far as to say this one stands alone. In it's own sweet little spot, soaked in shade and the smell of wafting honey suckle. lol It's what flies through the air when you blow your love a soft kiss and toss it out on the wind, to carry it home. It's a little bitter sweet. "Thou art to me a delicious torment." A slow drizzle of sweet blues.
I just love this movie, I've seen it 2 times before but just saw it again and it's so romantic without being corny or cliche, and the soundrack makes it more amazing!
Alexi Murdoch's music is so like Nick Drake's. Only a little more lively. I cherish them both very very much. Such a beautiful movie and music. HIs music makes this movie shine even brighter.
THE FIRST TIME I HEARD THIS SONG IS ON THE SPRINT COMMERCIAL, VERY SMOOTH, VERY MELODIC, AND MELLOW, VERY APPEALING---GREAT JOB TO THE ARTIST--ALEXI MURDOCH AND KUDOS TO THE SPRINT COMMERCIAL.
Like 10 other people before me, I too think this sounds very similar to Nick Drake, whom I cherish. Good stuff... I'll have to check out the rest of his songs.
3:24 - 3:45 my bf sang this to me while i was half asleep on his chest over and over....we listened to that part for like 5 minutes because we were in the main menu and neither of us wanted to leave.
Just watched, fell about laughing and tapped toes to this film. Excellent in all aspects. Acting was superb, cinematic shots just kept hitting the eye and the soundtrack is really attuned or vice versa. Hadn't heard of Alexi Murdoch before. Some comments about similarities to Nick Drake, yes and so what. I'm also picking up some similarities to John Martyn, ditto. Music is oral spaghetti, everyone sucks on it. The film is a must watch.
That's exactly how I found him - I thought it might be a Nick Drake song sung by some one else! He's certainly channeling Nick. Lovely music on it's own. I look forward to hearing more, as well!
There's so much tenderness and sincerity in his voice, it's heartbreaking....it's like he restores some type of humanity to you when you listen....
Like listening to the slowing rain as the sun slowly peaks through the clouds.
What an amazing movie. Found it at Dollar Tree for $1 and it's gotta be one of the top movies I've EVER seen. And the soundtrack is spectacular as well. What a lovely discovery.
Agree!
Any movie with a great soundtrack will be a great movie! I would bet on it
What's the name of the movie think iv seen it at the dollarbtree

It's a absolutely beautiful film and truly resonant with any couple who has struggled to find their place together in the world.

the soundtrack is incredible. He has his own sound, I just found him a couple year's ago after the real steel movie. I think I have a new favorite.

Having this played at my wedding, explains my life before and after I met my fiancee.
From Greece with love for this amazing song!!! ♥♥♥
Even breathing feels alright
Nick's been dead awhile (November 1974) but his music lives on. I agree his influence on Alexi Murdoch is also undeniable. Great song.
Nothing wrong with sounding like an incredible artist. Good job Mr. Murdoch. Cheers.
I cry at the end of this film everytime. It's just so...beautiful.
