Korean's doesn't use buttermilk. We use milk for marinate. It is so hard to get buttermilk in Korea. Normal grocery market doesn't sell any of the buttermilk. However last thing is optional but we use sprinkle crushed peanuts at the end for the crunch. Thank you.

The Korean one wins for flavour. I make this version though adding a dash of brown sugar and 50/50 honey with mulyeot if it matters. Its amazing.

Korean chicken is awesome. I don't like kimchi and some of their foods tho but their fried chicken is probably the best imo

IMO, the talking chef (Nick i guess) killed the vibes of the video. I like the others because not only the food looks awesome and somewhat doable for me, but also the zen vibes because no one talking and thus my imagination go wild as if I'm the chef.

Amazing recipe, the korean version seem to have more texture of flavour then the korean fast food here, it's too sweet in my opinion.

Ive not gone for USA and Chinese chicken yet. But ive had the one to taste korean 양념 chicken. Foreigners are divided about it but its my best chicken 🍗😆 but i doubt i want to try any other.korean chicken drives me crazy in a good way ❤️

If you ever tried actual korean street food fried chicken you know it wins every single time. There is not even a competition tbh. (Im not korean btw. just had the pleasure of tasting it a couple times in seoul and its to this day by far the best chicken I've ever tried)

@@VK-qo1gm somewhat similar but there are some crucial differences. The Authentic one is double fried and not put in the oven, the sauce is also similar but there is neither thyme nor oregano in it and its based on ketchup and gochujang and much sweeter probably, the process is different as well and only boneless chicken Tights are used. After having made it at home about 7 times I recon this one is not close to being as good as the real deal due to that. check : mykoreankitchen.com/korean-style-popcorn-chicken/ and maybe check similar recipies for "korean popcorn chicken" or "DAKGANGJEONG"
