So cuteeeee!!! We're not wine drinkers, but my in-laws are. So...I can "steal" them to DIY some lol. Anyhoo...hope you have a great week! Hugs~ Josie 🤗
OMG Elaine !!! These are the cutest ever. Don't know how you come up with your ideas....but damn girl !!! These are the BEST yet I've seen on you tube. You be the #1 to date. If the corks are more of the hard solid type...I understand your frustration...the " pressed" corks are better to use...they have more texture. Not sure I'm explaining this correctly...but there is a difference. You go girl....you're topping the charts in my opinion for tree decorations!!!! ❤🎄❤
Hi Elaine, very cute ornaments. Buttons are a good way to decorate the ornaments. The reindeer isso cue, and easy. You did a great job on him Loveit. Rocking horse is so super cute. I really enjoyed your video. 👍👍🎄🎄🎀🎀⭐️⭐️🎅🏼🎅🏼
I guess I lucked out when I bought a big bag of corks at Goodwill. I actully got them for old wine bottles I had. I'm not a drinker either, bi love deorating wine old bottles. This little reindeer is ute, but was wondering where his body was. I love that rocking horse. TFS
hello Elaine I love this ideas! on your deer i made something like it years ago i glued small pom poms together to make i look like a string of lights and twirled them around its antlers lol it looked like he got tangled in the lights ...I just love the horse he is adorable!! I need to find me some cork screws..xoxoxox
Hi Elaine, These Christmas ornaments are so cute, and I’d love to make some for Christmas. The good thing about watching these videos now in April, it gives me plenty of time to collect corks. Is there not somewhere that you can buy corks? I would think anywhere that you can buy home made wine kits they would also sell corks. It would be worth finding out if you can buy them and how much they would cost, it would be worth getting some in for making Christmas decorations early so that you had them bagged or boxed as early Christmas gifts. xxxx
I was really surprised any of your corks glued together straight away. Usually, it's a good idea to go over them with a PVA & water mix & let that dry, to make them non-porous.
I think it was the fact that they were non-porous to begin with that was the problem! The ones that were a little rougher and more porous seem to stick together beautifully.
I love the rocking horse too. I want to think of something to add tin reindeer so he won’t feel left out. These are adorable.I’ve been saving wine corks, just have to find them, Love these.
The reindeer is my favorite.
Great demonstration! Thanks for the ideas!
I just watched your cataract video and left a comment. Great info!... as always

Hi Elaine, yes, there are places you can buy wine corks and that is definitely and option. Part of the fun is saving them up though! Happy crafting!!
Hobby Lobby, Michael's.
