The thing about Ukrainian losses, all Ukrainians know there are lots of losses because you can see the funerals and the cemeteries. You can see people with prosthetics and healing wounds. This is the cost of self defense and it is noble. All Ukrainians want to honor the heroes and every hero deserves to be honored. Many thanks to Sweden! Sweden is one of the top contributors of military assistance to Ukraine relative to population or GDP. The Baltic and Nordic countries, together with Poland, are very good role models and give very good inspiration to others. Många tack!
Hello Artur and greetings from Sweden! Proud Estonian-Swedish here. So, the fortifications you talk about @8m30s between Krasne and Hlyboke are in Russian hands now, because they were not manned. This in itself is astounding. Is Ukraine that low on manpower? Perhaps the most likely scenario is that Russia never did a buildup of forces prior to the attack, they just attacked with what was there and on hand and that was something Ukraine did not expect. That's the only scenario that makes sense to me, but if true that is also quite naiive by Ukrainian command. Otherwise I am also disappointed in the weak support from Europe overall, much more could be done. What good is our equipment sitting over here when Ukraine needs it now? We can buy and build more equipment for later, Ukrane needs it desperately and already many months ago our equipment could have saved so many lives. It is very clear now what kind of war Russia is waging against Ukraine, it is a war of extermination. The attacks on children, hospitals, civilians and infrastructure prove it. When is the west going to realize, that we have been at war with Russia for over a decade already? It never ceases to amaze me how dumb people are in regards to the nature of Russia, their culture of corruption and violence, and their endless inferiority complex towards the west that seems to be a endless source of aggression. The Russian want of respect on the international scene is exactly the same psychological mechanism and expression as in a psychopath, but on a national scale.
Man power ain't problem in Ukraine. It's more equipment question. What i heard from our ex - panzer general: Ukrainians wasn't even fortificating properly any lines because it would be sign of staying on defenses but not advancing and it also costs money a lot. Well, now when they should be defending against russian summer offensives it will cost them some land for sure without proper defensive structures.
I feel rather honoured that Artur from Estonia and Anna from Ukraine would have a conversation in English -- clearly not their first language -- just so schlubs like me can follow and enjoy.
Thanks for update. The situation is very difficult and Russia is using the time before more weaponry arrives-it took to long- to push as much as possible. We just keep an eye on the news. Slava Ukraini!
Dont get me wrong I don't support shoigu, but saying he was fired is simply incorrect. The position he received is arguably more prestigious then defense minister.
We all know Putler is just keeping his friends close incase something happens to him. The new Mod leader is his top pick for Tzar in such a scenario. Shuigu is just his main JO bro. @TheEnforcer and @EnforcerMatt *also in Vladolfs veinerschnitzle klan.* Everyone forgets UA and USA get rid of commanders all the time too.
I can't speak for Ukraine but I can explain my opinion. Those russian revolutionary groups are relatively small in number. They don't really want to go toe to toe with large formations (I think). But also they accomplished what they set out to do. They forced russia to man more of the border. This "buffer zone" that russia is trying to create is a direct response to all the raids across the russian border. Further stretching the Frontline and russian logistics.
I am living in a Nato country. If there is a war in our country age 18 to 60 men must join the army we cannot leave our country. I don't want to fight and die for Ukraine if there's a war between Nato and Russia when young Ukraine men are having fun in Nato countries.
He is more competent that any EST politician right now 🎉🎉🎉 hands down. regardless what he speaks..he does his homework and dived deep into topic before speaking about it.
It is good to see Czechia, Norway, and others donating such a large portion of their heavy combat equipment to Ukraine. Estonia donated a lot as well, but you correctly pointed out that having a border with Russia, you have to keep up your own defenses. The same is true for the United States to an even greater degree. Though the US doesn't have a land border with Russia, they are the defense of the free world as a whole. I'm sure US allies would be distressed to see them pull tanks, artillery, and aircraft out of South Korea, Japan, Philippines, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, etc. And most US allies have enough military to hold off an invasion for perhaps a week, giving the US time to begin a more robust defense. That said, I think the US should have sent over dozens more HIMARS, enough Patriot batteries to defend the several largest Ukrainian cities, at least twice as much armor (Abrams and Bradley), and ammunition to operate all of those at expected usage for a year. They should have sent a thousand more trucks from fuel tankers to flatbeds for transporting tanks to Hummers to standard semi trucks. They should also have restored hundreds of older F-16s currently in long term storage to supplement those being donated by other nations, along with bombs, missiles, and spare parts for at least a year of combat. They should also begin the process of restoring a few of the Perry class frigates currently in storage to restore the Ukrainian navy once Crimea is liberated, along with smaller Navy and Coast Guard vessels stored or set to be retired. They should be delivered with weapons and parts for a couple years of post-war use.
Arthur commented the losses which is inevitable in war. If the ukrainean losses are 150 000 and the normal western rule is 1:3 relation regarding KIA we get a result of 37500 KIA. That's a bit higher than Zelenskyjs 31 000 and could be the number with added losses for the recent months. Honestly, I think Ukraine takes better care of their wounded soliders than Russia, this of several reasons. They care much more about their men at the front, and the distance to care/hospitals is shorter.
On the contrary. We have seen videos of doctors treating soldiers near the front, also, when Zelenskyy visits injured, some have such serius injuries that only immediate and skilled care saved them.
Right after the invasion, there was a former US general that made a statement about how any invading force that is prepared to do whatever they need to do to advance on the ground they needs to be prepared to lose 3 to 1 "Casualty rate". And honestly, death toll wise he was spot on..very sad numbers Send love from the U.S Glory to a free Ukraine 🇺🇦 🇺🇸
It's best to be honest about all casualties and battfield losses man. I support Ukraine and it's always hard to hear but you're right it's war. The good news is Ukraine is doing really well. Especially when you compare equipment losses.

Thanks for joining NATO. Your help is appreciated.
Many thanks to Sweden! Sweden is one of the top contributors of military assistance to Ukraine relative to population or GDP. The Baltic and Nordic countries, together with Poland, are very good role models and give very good inspiration to others. Många tack!
I cannot imagine any US president appointing an economist to head the Defense Department.
The avg combatant in UA is 43 years old. That means most of their fighting age men aren't serving.
@@Juhani96 One has to be truly ignorant of military matters to think that building fortifications is a sign of weakness.

Hi Artur. I watch your post every day, but I've never heard my name butchered. Your doing a great job, thank you. Barry
I feel rather honoured that Artur from Estonia and Anna from Ukraine would have a conversation in English -- clearly not their first language -- just so schlubs like me can follow and enjoy.
Your balanced analysis of the conflict is brilliant 🇺🇦 🇪🇪 🇬🇧 ❤️🇺🇸 🇪🇺
Slava Ukraini! ❤
Thanks for update. The situation is very difficult and Russia is using the time before more weaponry arrives-it took to long- to push as much as possible. We just keep an eye on the news. Slava Ukraini!
Sergei Shoigu has been fired. Well here we come walking down the street.
Dont get me wrong I don't support shoigu, but saying he was fired is simply incorrect. The position he received is arguably more prestigious then defense minister.

Why isn’t Ukraine using that Russian separatist group that invaded Russia in that area?
I can't speak for Ukraine but I can explain my opinion. Those russian revolutionary groups are relatively small in number. They don't really want to go toe to toe with large formations (I think). But also they accomplished what they set out to do. They forced russia to man more of the border. This "buffer zone" that russia is trying to create is a direct response to all the raids across the russian border. Further stretching the Frontline and russian logistics.
They are operating there
I think the Siberian league, free Russians are still operating in Belgorad?
@@reaperbsc So Ukraine WANTED to be attacked n Kharkov? Got it , thanks!
I am living in a Nato country. If there is a war in our country age 18 to 60 men must join the army we cannot leave our country. I don't want to fight and die for Ukraine if there's a war between Nato and Russia when young Ukraine men are having fun in Nato countries.
It's great to see independent support groups of Ukraine publicly collaborating together.
May the collaboration spread.
Thank you Artur!
I love Anna! And I love you and your positivity! Also, love your class for complimenting Jake Broe's record-breaking NAFO fund-raising.

He is more competent that any EST politician right now 🎉🎉🎉 hands down.
regardless what he speaks..he does his homework and dived deep into topic before speaking about it.
The new MOD appointee is like Russia’s version of Albert Speer. He will reorganize and pour far more into weapons production.
Thank you for sharing the interview with Anna from Ukraine. Her channel is really great and I highly recommend everyone to subscribe to it.
all love from denmark. we are one.
Artur, in this advanced country of Australia we are ahead of you and Europe. It is now Wednesday
the russians will be forgotten but not the ukrainians
The Russians with this war exposed them selves with the tyrannt if kremlin

Arthur commented the losses which is inevitable in war. If the ukrainean losses are 150 000 and the normal western rule is 1:3 relation regarding KIA we get a result of 37500 KIA. That's a bit higher than Zelenskyjs 31 000 and could be the number with added losses for the recent months. Honestly, I think Ukraine takes better care of their wounded soliders than Russia, this of several reasons. They care much more about their men at the front, and the distance to care/hospitals is shorter.
There is no chance Ukraien is tkaing better care of their wounded because peopel did interviews with their soldiers.
On the contrary. We have seen videos of doctors treating soldiers near the front, also, when Zelenskyy visits injured, some have such serius injuries that only immediate and skilled care saved them.
Happy Tuesday Artur glad to see you
Just a comment to help this video in RUclips algorithms. Because this video is important!
Thanks Artur. Good reports!
Tube is removing comment showing Russians as uncaring, even about their own.
Right after the invasion, there was a former US general that made a statement about how any invading force that is prepared to do whatever they need to do to advance on the ground they needs to be prepared to lose 3 to 1 "Casualty rate". And honestly, death toll wise he was spot on..very sad numbers

It's best to be honest about all casualties and battfield losses man. I support Ukraine and it's always hard to hear but you're right it's war. The good news is Ukraine is doing really well. Especially when you compare equipment losses.
