I would love a job judging people mistakes. and looking deeper into a simple bumper and head light change. That probably aftermarket parts were used. And panels were blended. Not due to the tech or shop. But by the insurance coverage the consumer chose when they signed on that dotted line. Most people don’t know what their signing. Then later want to hold others responsible
I saw something in the shop today I've never seen before, my 'expert' coworker installed (?) a full front door skin on a Tahoe... BUT! He glued the skin, clamped all the way around with vice grips... no folding of the hem!!! Guess he'll do that tomorrow, Then it'll get his customary half-gallon of filler. Who wants to know why I quit today....
When is one of these in dept inspections done. I am assuming these inspections are conducted in an unfortunate event involving a serious injury accident
Sometimes yes, after accident at the request of law enforcement or legal council. However, the large majority of these start as customer complaints forcing them to seek a second opinion on the repair
Must meet the definition of expert as outlined by the court. It can be education such as and Engineering degree or by experience and training within a specialty
