I love the melanzani color that is available, but also thinking about the Erdgeschoss frame. How wide do your 650b tires meassure exactly? Do you think you could add annother 2mm and run a 47mm tire?
I sold the bike so I can’t measure the tires but I could definitely add 2mm. also be mindful that the pfadfinder is aluminium and the erdgeschoss is steel
This is a gorgeous build! Nice one. My one hang up with Pfadfinder is the clearance! Any chance you can speak on your experience? Personally if it could squeeze 42c it is perfect
Hi thanks for the video. You mention you have a size 50, and I was curious how tall you were? Sizing is always a headache for me as I’m quite between sizes I’m 170 cm with a 81.7 inseam (32 inches). Cheers !
hey! I’m not sure about my inseam but I’m 169cm tall. I’m in between sizes 50 and 52 so it depends on if you want a more relaxed (52) or a more aggressive fit (50)
Very nice build! Is there a big Difference in comfort from the 650B to the 700c? I ride a norco section steel which is pretty much the same frame. I ride 650B alloy hunt wheels with 43mm Panaracer Gravelking. With the 43mm the radius is Not as big as a 700C. I think i feel the Vibrations more than with a 700C. I guess a 700C wheel with a 38mm tire would be more comfort. But i dont have the direct comparison. What Do you think? What are your experiences?
@@Brwnrice this is actually aluminum and the Kreissage feels closer to carbon than this one but still, it does feel less fast, heavier but sturdier and stronger
Came for the bike, stayed for the doggo! Sick looking build my man!
Bob is always making an appearance. Love it man! Keep up the awesome vids!!!
thanks doode
Sick steed built for speed 👌

FYI, both frames are steel. Pfadfinder frame is made from high-end Columbus steel tubing, Erdgeschoss is stainless.
@@CsoSly lol I was convinced it was aluminum for some reason but oh well!
Very beautiful
thank you so much!

thank you! you can only fit 38mm tires on 700cc wheels but I’ve ran 45mm tires on 650b wheels on this bike!

in my experience 650b is extremely more comfortable but also much slower. then tires make a difference too but I think that’s more personal taste
@@StachePower Can I ask: how much clearance do you have between tyre and frame with the 650b's & 45mm Cinturato's?
@@dpaeme quite a bit, to be honest. I'd say you could fit 48's, maybe even squeeze some 50's in there
I just found this bike on the pro's closet. You did not like it?
I did! but I just prefer MTBing to Gravel :) definitely hurt to sell it
@@StachePower I bought a Pfadfinder partly on your advice so I was worried ! 😅
@@charlesserilas223 ahah you're going to have a great time on it
This bike is gorgeous smh
thanks a lot dude!
very nice
is there any adapter you use to swap between 700c and 650b wheelsets?
no adapter needed!
looking at those bars for gravel. how do they feel?
haven’t done enough miles on gravel with them yet to give an honest opinion but so far so good
I am in between sizes, can you tell me your height (or inseam) so I can compare
Beauty of a bike mate 👌. Did you size down on your frame ? I’m between a 52 and a 54
I did size down, I've just grown to like smaller frames
What size Allez did you ride pls
Is this the one at The Pros Closet right now?
exactly the one

not sure what you mean
