since everyone seems to be commenting on the Muscular fight and since I do not have anything to add in that matter...fun fact: In the original version both manga and sub they are asking Aizawa for a "candy" and Kaminari says that they'd settle even for salty liquorice to which Aizawa says it's tasty. for some reason, it does fit him to like sweets that aren't really sweet. edit: also yeah, Muscular's quirk is kinda gross.

Just to clarify the 1 Million percent smash was later explained by the creator to just be a battle cry and its more like Dekus full 100% smash which is later explained that peoples quirks have limiters so their own quirks dont injure the user but in a desperate situation where the user is in danger or someone else they're quirks will pass these limiters. So not actually 1 Million percent still one of the best fight scenes this season.
Yeah I might be wrong but at this point Deku used about 75% of his own power because his arm was already extremely damaged and the 100% that he used was about 25% of his own power since he is already stronger than All Might as this point in time.

Ah yes! I’ve been waiting for this! The camp arc is such a nice lead into the next arc and this is the penultimate moment of the entire thing: Izuku is finally a hero in at least one person’s eyes. This was one of three episodes this season that made my eyes water in the manliest possible way, haha.

That’s not how Gas works lol, you don’t burn away gas like that. You know how many joules of energy it would take to burn away that much gas? Todoroki’s flame isn’t capable to do that on a small scale, and it would also risk burning trees.

Yes!!! Finally the best episode of this arc has happen and omg I freaking cried here like I did when I first read the manga of this chapter and saw the episode. This episode was the moment where deku truly showed how good of a hero he'll be since he took everything he's learned like aizawas words or remember where he started, when all might told him that a great hero overcomes anything and he tries with everything he has, when he said "shut up dammit" to muscular like bakugo would. Even though he was afraid and thought he couldn't make it that he apologized to his mom for not being that strong he didnt show kota his fear ao he would freak out more. But the best of all is the end when he pulled the super powered Detroit smash strength that ripped musculars expanded and stretchy super muscles then punch him and rocket him to the mountain reviving kotas hope and love of heroes ending with him on a epic pose that is reminiscent to when he clean the beach where it also took all of his energy mentally and psychically showing he has always been the world's greatest heroes since the beginning
Zamber, because we know that you are currently in the second half of this season, i recommend you to rewatch this episode and episodes 9, 10 and 11 in sub because the voice acting in those episodes are absolute Incredible!

This because You should check out what got changed in the Dub Adaptation, where They change things around to "better suit" the USA Culture, in an attempt to Target it to children too (but _"this is NOT a Kid's Show!"_ , so...), Instead of just Translating it... Many things get _"Lost in Translation"_ due to this (as one would expect) and some Plot Holes appear, specially on Characters' Personality traits and motivations... Also: some stellar Voice Acting too!. (and any reason to Rewatch is a Good Reason in My Book) 🤣 C Ya L8r then!. *;P* .

The percentages and comparisons are arbitrary; he's still just a kid, his blows are naturally very weak compared to a mountain of beefcake like All Might - even if he's got a souped up Quirk like One for All. That being said, it seems like a lot of characters in MHA far exceed normal human limitations even just under normal non-Quirk-based circumstances (take Stain for instance) and despite this, being punched in the face (even by an incredibly powerful force like One for All) and being essentially shotgunned by an immense burst of water going at the speed of a bullet are two very different things; a punch spreads the impact evenly across a broad surface, whereas a blast of water can be focused on a specific point to do maximum surface damage. I theorise that Water Hose focused on blasting Muscular square in the face with a jet of fire-hose-like water, which probably would have caved in the skull of any lesser crook tbh. If he's caught off guard without time to protect himself with muscle, as seen in this episode, he's free real estate.

From various remarks made, it was closer to somewhere between 125-150%. But astute as always on noticing other details. Also, trivia, both Tiger and Magne are trans. Tiger is a transman and Magne a transwoman.

I generally really like the dub for MHA, but in this episode, they really don't do a great job of showing Deku's inner turmoil when deciding confront Muscular in the end. The flashes of red are supposed to be signs of his mental weakness, either coming up with excuses or thinking that he's not strong enough, while the non-red shots are basically Midoriya giving himself a reality check, realizing that there's no time for clever plans and that all he can do is stand and fight. The dub makes it seem like it's all a continuous thought while the sub feels much more like a conversation between the two different sides of Midoriya.

This episode is way better in the sub version. In the sub version Deku sounds really desperate and in a lot of pain. But in the dub he only sounds like he is just charging for the attack.

I don't know if is just me but like English voice actors don't show us the same feelings as japenese ones, for example this episode, in the subs version the scene with Deku vs Muscular guy was so emotional in the subs, but with the dubs I just don't feel it man, is just kind of like: ahhh cool Deku... but maybe is just me.

This episode is way better in the sub version. In the sub version Deku sounds really desperate and in a lot of pain. But in the dub he only sounds like he is just charging for the attack.

I still think the sub was heck of alot sad since in the dub midoriya only cries out for all might but in the sub he cries out for his mom and all might 😢
I don't know if is just me but like English voice actors don't show us the same feelings as japenese ones, for example this episode, in the subs version the scene with Deku vs Muscular guy was so emotional in the subs, but with the dubs I just don't feel it man, is just kind of like: ahhh cool Deku... but maybe is just me.
