  • So on this day I mostly visited the Oxfordshire village of Hook Norton - en.m.wikipedia...
    Hooky Brewery - www.hooky.co.uk/
Here's a very interesting video about Hook Norton and the Brewery -
    • A History of Hook Nort...
This was my first and hopefully not my last visit to this picturesque village, I could feel an amazing sense of peace and neighnour-hoodness I this village like I've never felt before, I think having it's own brewery may have helped towards this but then again everywhere in the villages around Britain feels somewhat similar.
So I paid £1.90 for half a pint of real ale and it went down lovely, I could have had several more but I was driving so I dare not, I just wish I could have pitched up a tent and stayed the night, throw a few ribs on a BBQ and during the ale till the sun went down, that to me is what life is really about. 👌😉

I count myself lucky that I can buy Hook Norton beers over here in Australia, it is easily my favourite imported beer. Next time I come to Europe I plan to visit Hook Norton for sure. What a great place and tasty beer ! Thanks for the video.

Glad to see you out and about on that beautiful day. That very interesting area with the pub and beer garden looked like a wonderful place to spend a weekend. Your drone has offered an amazing perspective of the places that you visit. Viewing an area from the ground is very nice, but, from up above it is very difficult to beat. I just wish more viewers would stumble across your videos for a look. Your channel is of very high quality and I am sure that if more people would sample it they would likely subscribe to it. It will happen eventually my friend. And it is very nice of you to take the time to pick up the trash left by the clueless and worthless idiots that feel it too troublesome for them to bother to put it in the proper place. Those are the very people who are destroying this world with their lackluster attitude about their responsibilities. A true reflection on why the world is hemorrhaging right now. It is not going to be sustainable I am afraid. Thanks once again for sharing another of your interesting days with us Andy. See you on the next one.

Hi Terry, thank you for watching and thank you for commenting, I appreciate you watching my videos and your comments are something I always look forward to reading. This lovely little village which is tucked up in the North part of the county of Oxfordshire is a wonderful little place, this is the first time I've been here so I thought it was a great opportunity to take my drone not just to get myself a good idea of the area but also to give other people who are unable to get here a good idea also, the brewery was quite amazing as it produces most if not all of the beer in this particular area and people come from miles around to sample their delights, and to sit in the pubs beer garden was an absolute pleasure. England has many faults but this tradition of beer gardens and fine ale must last forever.

Nice tour of Hook Norton Andy, i've been there a few times to pick up patients. Did you know David Beckham lives about 15 mins away in Little Tew.

Hi Tom, thank you for your comments and I did not realise that David Beckham lived so close, I thought he lived most of his time in America. This was a lovely little village and it was my first time to this place and I really enjoyed the atmosphere there it had a nice feel to the place. I would have loved to have been in that beer tent having a few pints but it wasn't to be.

Miss the teabag launching bit. LOL 😂 we print all the Hook Norton beer labels here in Swindon where I work. Did the Hook Norton brewery tour years ago. Wadworths is another brewery that still has a horse drey.

Hi Mark, thank you for watching and for commenting, I need to do some more tea bag flinging, I've become rathe lax of late.
As for the Brewery, what a delightful drink that was and a lovely setting as well, I did not realise the labels were printed in Swindon, I am impressed with that. Waddy's is in Devizes and another delight place to visit, good beers as well.

Surely it's going to cost an arm and a leg in petrol! If that's the road you want to go down you would be as well getting a generator that would take up a lot less room.
