Ricky had overcome his camera shyness already. He is more talkative now than tengkers. And that is good. I heard you want to visit Bikol. Pls do so. Before heading for Masbate, you can dropby Bikol and make sure to stay there for few days in Legaspi and climb the Mayon Volcano up unto it’s nearest peak. You will be able to appreciate the world’s perfect cone shape volcano.Aside from that there’s plenty of tourists spots there. Try our native food which is pinangat( taro leaves cooked in coconut milk), pilinut sweets, bikol express, sili ice cream. The pancit bato and dinuguan mixed. You will love it for sure.

Yes, you need a crib... it’s necessary... For the baby’s safety. My baby fell off the bed coz we did not have a crib. We did not know that at 4mos, baby can start to turn even if you put a bunch of pillows around the baby. Also, doctors 🥼 here in the US recommend it to avoid the baby catching any virus from the parents.
Grandma is enjoying so much about you two. I stayed and retired in USA for 40 yrs . my nieces and nephews married to American guy and there were like Ricky very nice, responsible, educated, good provider, very good husband and good father. the age gap was the same as me and my husband. we got married when I was 22 and my husband was 21 years old. now, we are 12 years married and my daughter is already 11 years old. 2) I think the crib is necessary because as first-time parents you really want to avoid sleeping over your baby as you fall deeply at night, I heard some cases happen here in the Philippines and in the USA, and it's heartbreaking to watch.
3) I think it is quite normal that Ms. Erica is a bit worried because it's her first child but she is definitely relying on you so much as her husband and the father of that child.

Actually, Ricky looked right his age (30). But I think, having a beer belly tummy, and a mustache/goatie adds up maturity to his overall physical look. He needs to exercise to get back in shape and retain his youthful look. Also, Ricky, he may be playful or makulit, but when he gets serious like the way he imparts his ideas & his way of conveying his thoughts & opinions (like in this video) made me realize he is a very knowledgeable, very mature person- which I guess the reason why his wife thinks he likes giving life lessons.
And I see Erica looking younger than her age maybe because of her physical frame (over 5 feet tall? very petite & lean or payat) and her speaking voice is very soft, and lastly - with a childlike demeanor- gave her this overall youthful vibe.
That's just my assessment as to why others say Ricky looks older than Erica, well in fact, it's the other way around.

My hubby and I are an ‘international couple’ for 21 years now ! All our tiffs so far had nothing to do with culture or religion..just personality differences and normal husband-wife issues. Our 15 year old son is amazing and growing up well-adjusted and has not experienced any discrimination at all. Thats probably because we live in Toronto and we live in a very multicultural city. So in our house, we have 3 different nationalities: Filipino (me); husband (Indian) and Canadian (my son..and all three of us now). When we go to India, my son is treated as a foreign Indian, when were in the Philippines, he is seen as Filipino, and here he is just a regular Canadian immigrant’s child. Life is more interesting with a lot of interplay in cultures.
