@@theonlylunchbox one thing I noticed is the almost all of the angels except Gabriel and the metatron either wear gold or wear gold jewelry. As of now Gabriel is the only one that has purple. And I’m not sure it has to do with his position. If you notice the fly that has his memories it had a purple sheen on its wings. Gabriel’s eyes become purple again after he regains his memories. As for Aziraphale I headcanon that once he’s in heaven he becomes so disillusioned with heaven he stops wearing his ring. They don’t find it out of the ordinary because Gabriel and the metatron don’t wear a ring. Aziraphale wears blue stuff because it represents him. He’s trying to be himself in a terrible place. That’s why I think his eye color won’t change but, just glow.

@@ladyviolet1045 I believe it's a common thing in the fandom to draw post-s2 Aziraphale with purple eyes, as Gabriel had them! It's a visual interpretation of how Azi became Supreme Archangel, a rank that was previously Gabriel's, basically.
