The GT90 is a beauty. I was a big fan of it when I was a kid. I had a 1:18 die cast version of it and an AMT Ertl model that I built. Another Ford concept for the 1990s I remember was the Mustang Mach 3, which shared design cues with the SN95 generation. One crazy concept I just remembered that I'm surprised you didn't list on your 1980s concept video is the Plymouth Slingshot.
Hajek actually didn't pay for the GT90. He has a *massive* car collection, and has been working with Ford for decades. Ford needed somewhere to put the GT90, and decided Hajek was the perfect guy for the job. There's an interview with him on YT where he explains how he got the car.
I still remember the Nazca C2 as one of my favs in i don't remember which NFS on the Playstation. Many of these cars seem directly out from some HotWheels box 😁
The Cala was an interesting concept. I'm not too big of a fan of the design. I want to like it because it's Lamborghini, but just can't seem to commit. Thank you for watching!
@@raceyrache8463 So because the cylinders are closer together it isn't a v? The connecting rods makes the shape regardless off how straight up and down the cylinders run and even it's designers still call it a v6. If you just look at the top part of the engine then sure it doesn't immediately look like a v but if you look at the whole thing it's still there. It's about those connecting rods. Now you are right that it only needs one head but telling someone who's never saw the engine it's not a v is gonna be pretty confusing when they show up, take one apart, and still see the v.
@@raceyrache8463 lol. Love that you took the time to tell someone it's not a v when wrong and now youre mad because someone is explaining it to you. Believe what you want to believe but I'm gonna believe it's designers when they say "it's still a V engine". Wish you the best in any event. How dare one try to have any conversation with you over it. I mean what's the alternative then. It's an in-line 6. Definitely not. You really are a special kind tho

The Ford Indigo would work today with all Ford's 4cyl and 6cyl turbo engines. Slap a stroked 3.0l ecoboost v6 in that baby and it would be faster than a Ford GT. I still wouldn't be able to afford anything like it so i'm just talking, but i think in 2024 that car works.
Yes I agree with you I also think the GT 90 would still work in 2024 all they need to do is up grade the interior. But if you think about it if ford did put the GT 90 into production in the 90’s it would have been the most powerful street legal car in the world that kind of horse power was unheard of in the 90,s in production cars
im starting to love that modem hyper cars look like 90s concept cars
The GT 90 is my absolute fav in this list, along with the BMW nazca, GT 90 looks like it could be a James Bond weapons car and a batmobile as well.
Need for speed 2 inspired my love for some of these.

Remembers me of the good old days playing NFSII…. No?
Yes, me too!
I had the third one. Every time i remember it i think of the nasca
I still remember the Nazca C2 as one of my favs in i don't remember which NFS on the Playstation. Many of these cars seem directly out from some HotWheels box 😁
The Nazca C2 was something special. I notice video games tend to use a lot of concept cars in their line-up. Thank you for watching!

I will take my Maisto 1:18 Ford GT90 Model to my grave ... Great vid with NFS II vibes 👍👍

The W12 engine is NOT two V6s. That setup would require 4 heads. The W12 is two of VWs VR6 engines that are used in the Golf. ❤
Do you think a VR6 motor isn't a v6? I mean, I hear what you're saying but that's still two v6's put together. Regardless of how many heads you need.
@@grandreeferNo. A V6 has a block the shape of a “V”. A VR6 does not. Hope this helps

Believe what you want to believe. This is the very reason why it’s not called a V6

I've drove Ford Indigo...in one of the Need For Speed series
I know of most of these cars from the Need for Speed II SE game😊
It's funny how video games use a lot of concept cars in their games. Thank you for watching!
Was the Banshee not used in the last original Knightrider show as the Knight 2000? It was to replace K.I.T.T.
if thet fix the boxiness on the read of the audi avus quattro i think it would look really good and sell well even if it is painted
The Corvette looks like the Oldsmobile Aerotech.
Already numbers 10, 9 and 8.... Such a shame they were never produced! Same goes for number 3 and number 1!
The Corvette CERV IIII reminds me of the Honda NSX Mark 1.
or jaguar xj220
Yes, I do see the xj220 in the CERV III
Isn’ that striking that most of the best designs in 90s have the Italdesign signature?
That Audi looked like a Veyron Concept

Are you sure about the Ford Indigo?
Afaik one was sold to a collector who later crashed it, where another one resides in Ford Museum.

The vw w12 is known as the "nardo"
The Nardo was introduced in the early 2000s. The Syncro and Roadster were in the 90s. Thank you for watching!
I think a new hybrid VW supercar for like less than $100,000 would sell well.
Just so you know, the 80's was the decade of Big Hair! :)
Yeah it was definitely 80s but also in early 90s. Thank you for watching!
Big hair and flashy colors rolled over from the 80's...
Dude 😂😂😂😂😂
And was almost extinct by the mid 90's.
The 90's was the sick epitomy of the billet aluminum everything, and SBC chevy motrors in Ford's, and anything else someone could drop one into. 💩💩💩
Too bad Lamborghini didn't produce the Cala. The sharp lined Lambos are so outdated.
NFS2&3 gang
Pleeeeease: NOT Calaaaah! It's simply CALA with an emphasis on the first "a".
1990s to early 2000s cars basically all look like turds on wheels.
That last car Ford is the ugliest supercar. It's hard to make it this ugly unintentionally.
V12’s sound the best, and are perfectly balanced, so vw says screw perfection lets make a more complicated less efficient w12😂 smh stupid
