I was struggling with my Masters Dissertation until I found you. The best videos about Nvivo and qualitative data (and I believe I had checked all youtube about it) Thank you so much.
Thank you Dr. Adu! This video helped me solve the confusion of whether to decide my themes only according to my research questions or also include those frequently appeared information in the transcripts but not mentioned in the RQs. I could run an auto coding and see! Thank you very much!
Your videos have been amazingly helpful for me to start with this package as a beginner. Please share link to your video where you explain how to do qualitative (thematic and perception analysis) from google survey responses. How to import in this package and then systematically explore the respondents' perception. Best Regards, Sahana
Hello Philip, you have really made this look easy, I hope it still feel so when I start my own research data analysis lol, but if I ever get stocked on the way, I might have to hand it over
Thank you Dr. just want to find out if I can have the chance to explore all these avenues and still go back to where I reached before the exploration assuming I realised the features I explored is not needed? Just want to be cautious as a beginner 😂
Hello! Thank you for a great video. I wanted to ask how to remove a Stop Word if you had first Added it as a stopword when using the Word Frequency Feature but would now like to include it back into your analysis?
Hi, Your video is very useful, but even though I am still in doubts. My query is that I have interview transcripts and research questions, but I am not sure how to code and how to get into a result for my dissertation. This is the first time I have been working on qualitative data by doing interviews. How can I get into a result, discussion, and conclusion from this coding?
Thanks Philip, very informative. I have a question regarding auto coding. While it may not be the most effective way to code, do you think it may be efficient way to run through the data just to have an idea of what to expect from the data or even using it as a way of generating initial codes before actually diving into the data in detail.
You're welcome! Yes, you could use it to help you generate initial codes. However, some of the AI tools can do a better job - helping you to generate initial codes based on the purpose of your study and/or your research question. You could try ChatGPT or Claude.ai
Thank you for this, it's always motivating to see academics of colour deliver! My question, which is better for qualitative data, Nvivo or Maxqda and why?
Very useful video, I want to use word cloud and some other methods to present my results on the research i am working on at the moment, however i am unsure how to present it. I am analysing online reviews and want to use NVivo to find out the positive and negative reviews by star ratings, how am i able to do that using NVivo? Thanks
Thank you! The following two videos would help: ruclips.net/video/YefISJUAFks/видео.html ruclips.net/video/lsxcpY4ghxE/видео.html I provide consultation on how to present your findings, if you are interested, you can email me: info@drphilipadu.com
