adorable talk. I generally go for the talks that uses information and expertise in creative applications, but the ones that presents something so fundamental in our lives, like math, and forces us to think about it differently are always some of my favourites.
Learning math was never so funny like this!! I love his explanation :) not sure though if its because i have a soft spot for spanish language :D or that person really has a great way to explain difficult things in the easiest and funniest way possible!! Anyway, it was just great listening to this, thanx for have uploaded it! Love and math, mmm nice comparison ;D
I really REALLY wish you guys would clearly label if something is not in English. Your description is in English, your video intro is in English and then dskrjnbgewjhrbgewujyrhg No idea on this planet what he is saying. Thanks.
hmm something doesn't quite seem right: (0.1mm*2^50)/1000 = 112,589,990,684m *But* one Astronomical Unit is 149,597,870,700m can someone pls. tell me where I'm wrong?
You're right. But the 50th power is under by .25AU while the 51st power puts you over by .5AU. I think he said 50 folds because it's the closer of the 2. I think that falls into the category of rounding/close enough.
The mathematician Eduardo Sáenz de Cabezón answers a question that students around the world hate in math subjects and what mathematics is for?, How is it useful in life and how to implement it?
around 9:02 he says the structure can be found in nature, then without an example goes on to mention the Aquatic Center and somehow connecting math to take credit for Michael Phelps wins, wtf this guy has been taking too much math
Terroristiananas Me too. I also come here to watch a video of a person doing a presentation, not focus all my attention at the bottom of the screen and just read from there. I might as well read a web page. It needs to be labelled so that people know what to expect.
excellent talk, such karisma I'm truly impressed.
Ramtin Javanmardi @10399007
Please, help me! :)
Charismatic man talks in spanish about math.. I really like it)
Didn't realize we needed a Dr. Tyson of math... until now.
This deserves more views, man. It's absolutely amazing.
Hello what do u think about ur comment 3 hrs ago
You're white. I mean right. But he's not white so people care not quite.
That was impressive wonderful talk , I really want to study math now .... and to learn Spanish :D
To be honest there were a few times I probably would have laughed even without the subtitles. He sure knows how to play a crowd.
Este señor, en persona, es sumamente humilde. Un ser humano extraordinario.

"De Cabezon" = 'of big head'...you need a big head to fit all that math in there.
Me fascina esa combinación de matemática y carisma 💕
Makes me smile every time. On the spot
Yay, they added subs to these so I can understand. Finally.
I am in love with this guy! :) I am mathematician, I can prove it!!! ;)
Superb !!!! Bravo !!! wonderful
So cool! Thanks Eduardo!
2 years and still haven't hit 1M views. Seriously this needs more attention. I mean *Spanish is sexy.*
Learning math was never so funny like this!! I love his explanation :) not sure
though if its because i have
a soft spot for spanish
language :D or that person really has a great way to explain difficult things in the easiest and funniest way possible!! Anyway, it was just great listening to this, thanx for have uploaded it! Love and math, mmm nice comparison ;D
great speach
why everyone is focusing on the language and not the main point! our universal language is our brain, it is nice to accept each other
Yeah, just put it on a different channel so I don't have to subscribe to it.
Bravo!
Excelente
What's the name of theorem about Hexagons and can someone find the 3d version too ?
buenisimo ...
amaazing!!!!
just great!
math-pride: mode on!
Dude's writing poetry about math in Spanish. Next level!
forever and ever!!!
Haha... love it.
Excellent stuff :D
Math is forever; bitches are temporary.

That's why there are subtitles.
I hate hitting the back button, too.
awesome talk
That line at the end was really smooth hahaha 😅
Classico.
Genial!!! xD
Math in Spanish? My worst nightmare!
Damn, I was so excited to share this with my math-hating mother, but I think she hates subtitles even more than math... rats!
the two lyrics are not match
I have the answer now :P
Meglio lasciare inglese e spagnolo

I think the point is that it almost matches it :)

It's just an approximation using round numbers to demonstrate how unintuitive exponential growth is.
It's part of "fuzzy math" theory.

i truly Like u.
theorem!, not conjecture.
🤓😎🧐😈.
Which language is this?
Spanish!!
Algonquian
Subtiles are not well synchronised !
He is such an amazing speaker !! So much better than English bullshiters.
around 9:02 he says the structure can be found in nature, then without an example goes on to mention the Aquatic Center and somehow connecting math to take credit for Michael Phelps wins, wtf this guy has been taking too much math
English pls m8
Terroristiananas There are closed captions.
adlsfreund I know, I just like listening to these talks in the background while doing something else.

Stay strong, ignorance.
Le Sexy Fish Horse Ignorance?
monica lewinsky gets to share a stage with this guy? either I can be an expert mathematician or blow a president and I get to talk on ted.

Jajaja, y tú soltando tus lisuras, troglodita
Oh, god, so many English mistakes.
Boy please
so who said that women don't like maths and go onto get a job working in it???? damn patriarchy...... Oh no wait it is women themselves
Funny, well presented, but nothing of value.
