On the third layer where it says 3 teaspoons of agar, it looks like a lot for 3 teaspoons. I wonder what size you are using or if you really mean tablespoon. The same as 1/2 teaspoon of jelly powder. I am a qualified chef and i know the jelly powder ( gelatine ) that i use here, 1/2 a teaspoon would not set that amount of liquid. Do you mean larger quantity ? Much more accurate for us if you use GRAMS as measurements.

Hi, if you’re in Australia; you can easily find agar agar and gelatin powder at your local Asian grocery store. There are several different brands and the packs are normally labelled in english as well but If you have any trouble finding anything, you can always ask for some help in-store.
