Daud's Assassins - Dishonored (Brutal Rampage 14)
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 26 сен 2024
- The treacherous Regent and his allies are all dead. The coup is over.
Returning as a hero to a standing ovation, Corvo is once again betrayed - this time by his fellow loyalists and would-be rescuers.
Corvo unleashes his barely-controlled, compounded rage upon the regicidal "Whalers" of the Flooded District - Daud and his assassins.

I liked the cinematic "look over the shoulder" at the end.
That was so Hollywood
Yep. Same
Totally expected him to put a spring razor on his face at the end
I do that sometimes in all first person games. Makes character feel more alive.
Ахахах
When you showed mercy on Daud, I was surprised because I thought I was watching StealthGamerBR
And I love the fact that he plays a lot as daud too
how is sparing someone edgy tf kids
@@circ8745 No one said anything about edgy you stupid fuck.
@@kob627 my guy you listen to kpop
@Frosty Smoothy No I don’t... That’s so random... You listen to Left 4 Dead soundtracks bro just sit down.
The moment you turned around a little bit I was convinced you were going to fling him off the roof or something.
+MessengerOfHell
"And you choose mercy."
"nope"
*Windblast*
"just chuck testa"
He was actually simulating the DLC where you play as Daud himself. Where Corvo chose mercy, then Daud said his words he looked back and walked off.
If you use the heritic's brand on high overseer cambell and don't kill him, he appears as a weeper in this mission on the bottom where you retrive corvo's stuff
the first time I did that I thought it was a bug that he was there
*this reply goes a bit late*
@@dabi9219 it is never too late
Ik
Not always, I’m pretty sure he only gets the plague in high chaos.
@@eclecticspaghetti Nope, that works in low chaos too.
And you choose mercy... Extraordinary.
Shouldn't he have said; "And you choose mercy.. Unexpected." That's what he said for me in my high chaos run. You can tell he's also doing a high chaos run because Daud doesn't call off his assassins when fighting him.
Some Guy So,its like if you sneak past all his men but engage him he would not think you can come knocking on his front door, and at the same time you knocked out his men so he would be quite surprised.
Red oBJECT "Especially because you killed literally all of my assasins."
He spared one at the beginning by choking him out instead of killing him. Plus, I'm pretty sure there were more on the roofs of the first section.
@@maskedfelon9261 In my high chaos (aka murder simulator) run, he says "you choose mercy... extraordinary".
I like how he decides his fate and he here's "you choose mercy" and looks back at him like a bad ass
Ikr!
in my high chaos run, I murdered everything from the dandelions on upwards, but I never killed daud. I just thought " you know what? I think we're very similar, I understand ya, so.ill let you off the hook."
Yeh bro I did the same.
+v Tempo no matter, no matter what happens to him, in his side of the story, he saved Emily.
in the dlc's he saved emily from delilah so yeah. cool in my book :p
uhhh wut
Then you, my friend, have not played Dishonored 2.
Probably the first time i have seen you sparing a life in dishonored :) . Great video mate .
clockner thanks :)
almost nobody knows this, but the guy that i dropped in the water at the start never died. due to the gas masks, they can survive being dropped in water while unconscious xD
completely useless, but a great feature to have put in.
Volound I didn't know that.
Volound Yeah noticed this on my first walkthrough where i accidently dropt a assassin in the water .
oh my god I watch your channel... u a fan of this game
That blink battle was badass
I love the way the assassin got behind you mid-teleport at 8:32, as if he was almost a match for Corvo… but of course, nobody’s a match for Corvo.
I loved how after he said, You chose mercy, extraordinary, then you gave him a little half glance back. That was a great little detail.
14:10 ''You make an eloquent plea, for someone with innocent blood on his hands. It's a shame Corvo doesn't know the real story, isn't it? How Daud, the legendary assassin, spent his last days doing whatever it took to save Emily Kaldwin, defied the keepers of Coldridge Prison, faced down gang leaders and the terrors of Brigmore Manor. With the end coming, you cut a savage swath through Dunwall, blood and terror, for the fate of the Empire. A story never to be told. And you leave the ending up to Corvo? That's courage. You make your own choice, and accept the price.'' -The Outsider.
Vicotaco yes...yes...but spoiler alert here
I've already beat the dlc
Thats the high chaos one, but since Corvo didnt kill him... it should be like this :
You make an eloquent plea, for a man with innocent blood on his hands. It's a shame Corvo doesn't know the real story, isn't it?
How in these last days you passed through Coldridge Prison like a shadow, dared the tangles of Dunwall's underworld and walked out unscathed; outwitted one of the greatest witches in a generation, all with consummate care and skill. How you saved Emily Kaldwin, daughter of the Empress, first of her name, and no one will ever know. But how does it end for Daud, the hired killer, the murderer, the savior of the Empire? It's up to Corvo now.
Vicotaco nice theory or a little story
@@adriellechristoffgrajo6425 its not a story dude it's the dlc learn before you answer
notStam lol
you leaving the introduction of the mission in really fitted well, excellent video.
anybody it was a tough decision, but i felt it was necessary for the video. thanks. glad you liked it.
I love how he does a little bit of role playing, like he's actually Corvo in the game. Adds a nice touch
After playing the DLC's I really I felt bad killing Daud.
dont have the dlc but didnt he kill the e press?
LiqCharles it's a long story but he nearly sacrificed himself to save emily
thanks^
I did not want to spoil the story for those who might want to play the dlc, but that is pretty much what happened.
+LiqCharles Spoiler alert: Don't read if you don't want spoilers
In the DLCs, Daud says that he regrets killing her(The Empress)
When I play this game with high chaos I can run like a psychopath and slaughter every living piece in Dunwall with a smile on my face. But I never, NEVER dare to kill Daud :-)
me neither xD I still always fight him of course^^
im no good in the fight against daud so the adrenalyn power saved me
if you stop time WITHOUT him noticing you beforehand, you can pump him full of arrows without actually fighting him ;) (I only did that in my first fight with him, but it´s a neat little trick for people who want to hear his plea without getting their asses handed to them xD)
+Moritz Hofinger thanks dude!
+Moritz Hofinger I've only done that in my first fight with him and haven't been able to repeat it sense. lol imagine my surprise in the second throughs lol
8:30, looks like they had *Puts on sunglasses* a blinking contest.
YYYEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Smeeshie2001
Holy shit that's was amazing
Dude you're an animal. It's like your able to play like an actual badass. The way you play is like a scripted cinematic from first person. It's like you can actually play like a badass.
12:00 *fires pistol*
I hear your footsteps,Corvo.
Yknow, it’s interesting how Daud is the only person to call you out by name.
@@xtxownage because daud KNEW he would come for him test him like the outsider
Really impressed, i didn't know someone can be able to play this mission this way, and here it is, a masterpiece, loved that pause at the end so much tho .
Man i miss The Outsider's old voice. The new one is so much worse, its alot higher pitch for one and it sounds like hes talking into a fan. This ones sounds a bit more real to me, his voice is condescending and older.
Slothy Slothington literally facts omg
He’s 15 tho
I had no problem with his voice when I played Dishonored 2, but when I got played the first one after playing the second one, I gotta admit he sounds way better.
True, yes. But there is this desperation in his higher voice, since he isn't alone anymore. Although I would have liked to hear this desperation in the older voice, too. How it would have changed the vibe. If it had at all... who knows.
A problem I have with this game is that Samuel still spares you on the High Chaos run. There should have been some different reason for you surviving the poison.
in the end he doesn't really cos he shoots his pistol and signals for the guards to attack you
Samuel most likely believes you still have a chance to redeem yourself, because up until Kingsparrow Island, it's possible to change from high to low chaos, given you haven't killed too many people in previous levels
20% total
Nonuv Urbeeznus Samuel spares you if you haven't killed that many people but if you choose to kill everyone he will alert the gaurds
On both my playthroughs I've killed Samuel before he can alert the guards. Was so shocked when he did it I reloaded the game before he did it to knock him overboard.
Loved that little pause at the end mate awesome videos just makes me wish the game was bigger would love to hunt whales on stormy seas haha
adam pitlik you get to watch them being tortured in the DLC.
but yeah, hunting them would be interesting. maybe in dishonored 2 we can board a whaler ship mid-hunt :o
+Volound you can't m8 in Dishonored 2 Whales are Extinct
Tylersamazing "When the last Leviathan falls, the world will return to the Void." So says the Heart. Since the end of the world hasn't happened in Dishonored 2, Whales are probably not extinct just yet :P
@@LeoKRogue Question of time, humans loves oil too much.
That was wonderful! Glad you did what you did, Daud was my favorite character.
that ending was grade A badass.
Dude, I really can't explain how much I like this game and this mission is one of my favorites just because of the theme and mood it passes, as you said. But it's incredible how I can easily do it stealthy while some people has trouble with it when people like me watch you guys doing great things like these rampages on the game, the kind of thing I'm trying to do and I can't. xD
But, great video, man!
I gave him mercy first try and kinda regretted it since the empress was so sweet. But after playing both DLC’s of Daud, I can conclude that sparring him was the right thing to do because he was truly sorry.
The precision in which you blink around, with no delay or hesitation, is amazing. You make it look a lot easier than it is.
Which are your preferred powers and their levels? Obviously Blink level 2, some level of Blood Thirsty, Swarm of Rats and Bend Time. I wonder if level 2 of Bend Time really worth the 8 runes?
Ohoho yes. Passive or violent. It doesn't seem that useful against dad, but you can freeze time and just slaughter everyone in the room, or put them all to sleep. You see it with the weepers when he goes for his gear.
very noble of you. i always loved Dauds character. they could have done the stereotypical unfeeling killing machiene character but no, they made him a human with flaws and remorse. can't wait for the second game
I'm going to play as Corvo first, in Dishonored 2. I really want to know what kind of a character he is according to canon, and hopefully they won't dumb him down but give him the abilities and equipment we had at the end of the original. This tiny detail would make Dishonored 2 even better
That one Assassin at the beginning that he left unconscious is gonna be real confused when he wakes up
Dude at 09:10 was so impressed by that warp that he just completely let an intruder go. "That was so impressive imma pretend i didn't see anything. Not getting paid high enough in dunwall, just waiting for shift to end and head to Karnaca."
wait...at 7:44 did one of Daud's assassin just do a backflip to a roof from a 4 story building????
***** wtf... why legs not shattered?
+M I A KOOL YET? That's because they are professional, like daud and corvo.
+con verg you never see Daud do it, and even when you play as Corvo or Daud, dropping from a 4 story building doesn't exactly end in a happily
Virtually Hidden Canonically, Corvo, Daud, the Whalers, and even Witches can do that.
But sadly, for gameplay reason, they made it impossible to do that, otherwise the character would be overpowered. Just like Daud's "blink" or transversal. Canonically, transversal is basically teleporting.
I can see that you're a very smart person! Amazing creativity, reactions and physical coordination (brain -> hands).
This is by far the best I've ever seen!
Holy crap.. I hadn't really thought to use blink like this, you can really move around.
And all corvo had to do was say, "Sorry guys, but I don't drink."
DAT ending tho XDD feels I'm watching a movie lmao
The only reason I consider sparing him is because I think there might be a chance to confront him as Emily in Dishonored 2. If there is, I'll have Emily avenge her mother.
Have you played the DLC?
ThePotatoGamer Yes and it changes nothing.
To be fair, it would be cool if she confronted him and he told her what happened, and depending on chaos she either believes him or doesn't and fights him
ThePotatoGamer I think it should be to the player's discretion whether to fight and kill him or to let him go. I wish there was an option to make him suffer like the rest of Corvo's enemies...
I think that was the point of the choice then. Despite not killing them, you always took revenge and tortured all the targets. With Daud you show true mercy, sparing him and saving him pain, so it really shows whether you choose justice, or revenge
dude you're like the god of gaming
you always make a movie out of video games. the developers would be so pleased to watch this video.
I like to imagine that corvo spared daud just so there would be one guy who could tell others of what happened there. That way they know not to mess with him.
Only stumbled upon your Dishonor videos the other day since I just got the GOTY Edition, but this is by far my favorite video from you for a lot of reasons. Reason 1: This is the best part of the story to me. From Corvo's capture to Daud's plea for mercy, it really puts Dishonor's themes of redemption and revenge into form and as you said it definitely shows the consequences of your actions throughout the game. Reason 2: I love how you showed Corvo's body language towards the end there by walking away from Daud. No matter how great Corvo is at killing, no matter the destructive power he wields in his hands, and no matter how brutal his rampage is, it seems that Daud's plea for mercy broke something within him, as if Corvo saw himself in Daud. Reason 3: Best fight in the game. Period. Two of the Outsider's most powerful chosen ones going toe to toe using their powers to thwart one another in a flurry of blood, steel, and death in one package. Keep honing your skills dude and keep up with the videos. You've earned a subscriber here.
12:28 to 12:38 is the best part
Not killing Daud and forcing him to live with what he did, after the fact that you fucking slaughtered everyone else in this entire game. Badass
This mission took me ages to get through, amazing how the whole experience chnages as your skill level improves
loyalists cant tell if you're dead even while you're turning your head to hear who's speaking
Love that when daud asks for his life Corvo has the adrenaline filled up, so under his mask he probably looks like a steroid user
Awesome
bella dado
wow, i've beaten the game multiple times are there are still at least three things in this video i didn't know you could do. such a great game
dat Thief easter egg
Where ??
PsychoMantis when the neophyte is being schooled on stealth in the dark room, the dialogue is identical to the tutorial of thief. a very nice homage to an influential progenitor of the stealth genre.
Volound It helps that Arkane contains several people that worked on Thief.
This is canon.
Canon Corvo did went on a rampage in Flooded District, but then spared Daud and went back to be Low Chaos.
did you know that you get blade from table in left from starting hole? In fact there are two blades and food if needed.
+Dat Epic Fish of course
are all 3 blades even different?
i got the feel that the assassins blade was slower, heavier and the abby of the every man blades were lighter and faster.
theres 5 blades that you can use : Your Own,Bottle Street Gang blade, Assassin blade,Overseer and Officer blade
Interesting how so many things change depending on whether you choose to go nonlethal or lethal. Nonlethal, Samuel is a nice guy to you and he is eager to help. Lethal, well... I guess he still helps but grudgingly.
i kill Samuel 😈😈😈
You can find High Overseer Campbell down there as a weeper if you spare him.
+WALN Zell Daud's assassins are really hard to eavesdrop on while wearing those masks. That's genius!
And ONLY him down there if you play a Low-Chaos playthru. Makes it much easier to get the gears back :P
really?, only Campbell for you? I just finished a clean hands playthrough where I still had 2-4 weepers in that building (now granted I infected the still on that go-round).
rodlurks66 No. Campbell is there with the other weepers.
rewatching years after still amazing
Guys he spared Daud so that bethesda could make part 3.. Praise Volound
start 4:11
This man with the cannon ending lmaooooo
Daud: I have one more surprise for you-
Corvo: Another birthday present?!
Daud: I ask for my life.
Corvo: Oh. >:(
💀💀💀
Nice touch with that partial turn at "So you chose mercy."
I've played this 40 times over so many different ways and I'm still learning new ways to do stuff
Incredible video mate. Keep it up- I don't think I've ever seen a gamer as good as you. Wish I wasn't piss poor so I could donate to you, but such is life.
''maybe none of these. Perhaps that's just the nature of men'' Outsiders such a badass
Excellent playthrough!
at 14:14 I thought this was one of those badass scenes from a movie
Everybody acting gangsta till the assasins start teleporting
I did the same thing, killed all of his henchmen then spared his life. Only because the heart said that she can't find the truth or a secret about his henchmen, so I saw them as irrelevant to this world, and relieved her of the failed attempts.
he knows the game like the back of his hand
the void mark
I DON'T KNOW WHY THE HECK IMA SCARED OF WEEPERS LOL😆
,, Sometimes the worst punishment is mercy"
11:20 from this point onwards, the battle is just epic
He makes it look like a movie
You do know that as soon as you get out of that hole there is a Sword and potions on a table. You can take an Assassin's blade or and Overseer's Saber.
After watching a few videos from you I have one thing to say. Hero your health is low, do you have any potions or food? Kinda annouying watching 7min long videos with the blood filter up for 3min of it
Oh, that's not health. When you get a certain number of hits (or kills, not sure) with one of the passive powers, you can instant kill any one dude. When the screen is red, he can use it. I don't think he ever did though.
+TheEvilFishAssassin Hmm, guess in the game I just never strung kills together to use that feature. Just thought he turned the bars off to appear to take no dmg ;)
Yup, I could never bring myself to finish a high chaos run. I've got next to no knowledge of the more lethal features myself.
...
....never taken a single iota of damage in any of my dishonored videos..
+TheEvilFishAssassin it's the bloodthirsty skill. if I'm not mistaken, it allows you to clean out a crowd if used in the right place.
Great video, great gameplay, great theatral moves and actions. You own Corvo's mask.
Interesting pathing to get your stuff back... 8 runs and I´ve always gone there by rearranging the stairs xD
the way you defeated those first few guys without a sword was also pretty nice ^^
daud proved a good man and as a character I like him a lot in dishonored
I guess the mark of The Outsider also gives you godly endurance and health, because fucking shit did Daud take a lot of hits.
there are thousands of poisons in the world but these assassins just took a glance and managed to instantly identify the poison immediately? WTF
That daud battle was the sickest shit I've seen from this game
amazing gameplay as always Volound, keep up the good work
mistake #1 don't betray the most deadliest Assassin mistake #2 don't think for a second he's down for the count because now that you betrayed him everyone will die lol
if he gives you your life
it belongs to volound now
I thought it was really creative when you're imprisoned in the grate and the game has you break the wooden planks by throwing bricks at them. For a moment I thought I was totally trapped.
i never knew you could do that! i always possess one of the rats and leave via the drainpipe
Dishonored es de los pocos juegos que me hacen sentir poderoso...
Such a cinematic pause. I like it
This entire video is a scene out of a John wick style movie that is this playlist
absolutely stunning whaler killa
Every time i see your videos I always want to play again but end up going no kills and all stealth throughout the playthrough
Always awesome videos
Tbh the skill you have it seems like exactly how corvo would act if it was real aha
all that dodging
In this "party and poison" part of the story I just knew they would betray me and I dreaded it.
Awesome video man! And yeah am I the only one that used Possiession on mouse to escape after you were captured :D ??
Keep up with good videos!
i feel like im actually watching corvo, like this actually looks like exactly how he would move (and kill if he was going down the rampage route)
You can go to the bottom of the tower that you are kept in, go underwater and blink through the iron bars instead of sneaking past or fighting the two guards
You are really good, oh my god i never seen so much ability in this game. Good job
im annoyed i havent seen these.. ima watch them all now >;3
wow,i like the way you clear the game
Greatest part of the game. Believe it or not, Corvo and Daud are very similar. They remind me of Bruce Wayne and Ras.
I'm glad you let him live.
Plus, that battle was perfectly dope.
I love you.
Very good video ! Continue I love your Chanel !
Its like you are directing a movie
I love the sliding kills
