    What a game. James Harden is playing out of his mind. With the addition of Chris Paul, it makes Harden more energize and makes him even more dangerous.

    Rockets now have two guys that can take over the game in the 4th quarter. The result? 40-19 and the W.
    Lillard was playing as well as Curry at his best, Rockets found a way.

      Yep! I was seeing the same thing. I was saying, "the Blazers shooting light-out like the Warriors, and if the Rockets can do this against a team lighting it up from 3s, that's a strong Championship squad!"
      I hope the Blazers play the Warriors tomorrow like they did against the Rockets. Im guessing the Warriors is not gonna be able to handle the Blazers at their best like they were against my Rox.
      They took away our 3s and our passing......and we was forced to do one-on-ones of Harden and CP3 to get the win. If the Blazers put the clamps on the Warriors 3-point shooters in their next game, and neutralize their passing, they can beat the Warriors, man.
      And that would mean the Warriors drop to 21-7..........giving my Rox some cushion going forward. Haha.

    The really scary thing is Chris Paul and James Harden haven't even come close to gelling, as you could see in the highlights at 7:45 and before that a few other times. However watching these two interact over this brief time, I am starting to think Paul might be the Yang that Harden needed to balance his Yin. Harden seems to have mellowed Paul a little bit as well, which is a good thing knowing how intense he can be. Can't wait to watch these Rockets grow over the season!

      Man playoffs is going to be crazy the way these teams are playing!, I don't wanna see Houston vs spurs until ECF, I wanna see Houston vs OKC and golden state vs OKC or Spurs in semis! I think GSW have a really tough road ahead of them if they remain second seed

      you have a point. but you know why that is? they know they came rely on each other, so that helps take the load off each other. "beautiful". but one thing I hope that they don't do is bring in Lebron, because they need to win for themselves, without the circus, and drama he brings. and we don't want ring chasers in Houston.

    Remember before the season when people were saying that 3 ballhogs in OKC would work better than arguably the 2 best passers in the NBA??
    LMFAOOO at this point the Thunder might as well give the Rockets PG so we can for sure take down the Warriors.

    • @malikb2939
      @malikb2939 7 лет назад +5

      That's what Im saying! We need PG13, man!
      He never should have been traded to that stupid Thunder team. Let Melo stay with Russ...they are birds of the same feather. PG13 is an ill-fit with that squad. He'd be a much better fit with the Rockets.
      People trying to push this poisonous narrative that Lebron to the Rockets should be something we want. Im a Rox fan and I know for a fact signing Bron will FUCK UP EVERYTHING we have. EVERYTHING!
      I dont understand how some Rox fans think Bron is a fit here. Like, "what???" That dude will fuck up Harden' game. We already have CP3 meshing well with Harden, and can run the 2nd unit. The fuck we need Bron for?? He does what Harden and CP3 is doing.....we don't need a 3rd player like that.
      PG13 is an ideal fit as a SF. We can move Ariza to the bench unit with Eric Gordon and let CP3 run that unit with Nene at the 5. It will help shore up our bench production instead of the team clamping down on E.Gordon. With 4 shooters in CP3/E.Gordon/T. Ariza, Luc Mbah, the floor will be spaced optimally.
      And with the starting 5 unit, Harden/CP3/PG13 can gel like a MOTHERFUCKER! That would be a BEAST trio, man! The Warriors knows they can't fuck with the Rockets if we have Harden/CP3/P.Georgre/Capela........they'd FEAR that shit! 😃
      And E.Gordon/Ariza/Luc Mbah A Moute and Nene ran by CP3......ahh man! Haha.....talk about D O M I N A N T !!!

      Malik B Exactly

    • @RiceQube21
      @RiceQube21 7 лет назад

      Indeed indeed, I completely agree with most of what you're saying about Bron coming to us, I think I give him a little more props than you in terms of how important he is to his team but like you said, we're already set to have the second highest payroll the league next year should CP3 choose to stay, and throwing LeBron in the mix would certainly decimate our bench as there would be no way to pay all these dudes especially since they've all been balling out. And even though it sounds incredible and would most likely be a straight shot to the WCF, just throwing in a 33 year old LeBron doesn't mean we can for sure take down the Warriors.
      During the playoffs is when having superstars truly make the difference in a 4 game series (as we saw with SnaKeD against the Cavs in the finals) and even though we've been playing tremendously I'm still not completely sure we're ready for the Dubs in a 4 game series.
      Getting PG would put us neck and neck with them IMO as he could fit in right away with him being able to score easily without dribbling too much and also being able to lock down opposing wings. Sticking PG at SF would be like the small forward equivalent of Bev for CP3, the D is pretty much the same but the offense gets a HUGE boost.
      Unfortunately it'd probably make the NBA into a 3 horse race again, but like Daryl Morey said, KD made the NBA an arms race and you're either in or out, didn't make the rules just playing the game lol.
      With that being said though, I don't want the Rockets to trade for PG and give up our entire bench to snatch him up. With how things are going in OKC. it looks extremely doubtful that he'd wanna stay with Westbrick for another year so we might even be able to get him without giving up anything but cap space, that'd be fucking incredible.
      All he needs to do is buy in like CP3 did, that this is Harden's team and we will play through him as our alpha. I still think that OKC should play through PG as they're literally like 4-1 or something when he shoots more than Russ lol, hopefully he doesn't realize that before the year ends and they continue to run their dumpster fire offense.
      I still laugh when I remember people asking me if I was sad we didn't get Melo. I literally had a huge sigh of relief when I heard he wasn't coming, you can't run any offense with that fucking dude. Fun to watch but the NBA isn't a pick up game, there's a reason he's never won and it has nothing to do with talent.

    • @malikb2939
      @malikb2939 7 лет назад +1

      RiceQube
      You make a lot of good points. And the thing about PG13, we can go after him during the offseason and go over the cap to acquire him while keeping the band together. That's key.
      And PG13 would come a little cheaper than Bron. And we wouldn't have worry about PG13 team-hopping like Bron do. Like you said, Bron is 33, will be going on 34. It make no sense to break up our squad for him even if it guaranteed we get to the WCF because we can get to the WCF with the squad we have now.
      And adding PG13 would solidify us making the WCF for the rest of Harden' prime years, and the fact PG13 can play behind Harden and CP3 is why he'd be such a natural fit than Bron.
      I really can't see Bron accepting a lesser role as a shooter/slasher/defense. Its not his game. His game is exactly what Harden does for the Rockets. There will be problems with that with Harden on the floor, and this being his team....the Alpha Dog (like you said). The only way Bron would make sense on the Rockets is if we didn't have Harden to begin with.
      But since we do have Harden, we don't need Bron. He wouldn't do anything better than what we can do with PG13 on the squad. In fact, PG13' role will uplift us more than Bron due to the fact PG13 can "fit in" with Harden and CP3. Bron' game won't sync right with Harden on the floor. They both need the ball to run the team and we already have two of the best in the league at that (Harden/CP3). And PG' defense is better than Bron. PG is the natural choice for the Rockets...not Bron.

    • @RiceQube21
      @RiceQube21 7 лет назад +1

      Amen, with PG and Harden playing with Chris, CP3 could average like 7 points and 13 assists and games would be over by the beginning of the third quarter.
      I like LBJ and want him to shit on the Warriors if we come up short and he gets the opportunity again. But having him here would mean Harden would have to take a step back and I doubt that our offense would be nearly as explosive without him playing the leader.
      And given all that, if LBJ wants to be in the discussion for the GOAT, he shouldn't just jump around from team to team ring chasing, it looks weak. Nobody's move will ever be as soft as KD's but if LBJ wants to maintain his legacy I think he should just stay in the eastern conference where he'll only have to play 1 team to get to the Finals.
      And on top of all that, the Cavs still have the Nets pick which is potentially top 5, and I wouldn't be surprised if the draft "lottery" gives it to them at 1 or 2 for Marvin Bagley or Michael Porter. Let's just hope they won't use it as a trade to get Paul George lol.
      For now let's just worry about beating the Spurs in the semi's cause it's looking like we're on a collision course with them if the Warriors end up snatching the #1 seed. Can't wait for Friday's game.

      @marshae8089 7 лет назад

      johann parcon but an all star team isn't enough to beat the warriors. You need future hall of famers & superstars. Cp3 had to set up everyone. BG was always hurt & would never show up & DJ had no offensive game, jj couldn't get his own shot, & Jamal was hot then cold. That wasn't a complete team, it was a just a team full of names who didn't fit. Now fast forward to cp3 in houston. Look how he gelled with them. Look how cp3 new superstar teammate steps up & takes over when did blake ever do that for chris in L.A..

      Og Mane Oh yeah? So Lebron needs 2 more 5 star players to win huh? PG, Cousin don’t need to join the Cavs. They need to join a young team with talent. Both need to join the Boston Celtics.

      @Xanninja 7 лет назад +5

      the East has a better record + winning record vs the West. stop talking that non sense. Harden has played The Nets(east) Suns Grizzlies Lakers during this streak, basically the worst teams in the league are in the West. Lmao

      You must be drunk, the Celtics are at the top right now but Cleveland has only one other competitor in the east. No, Raptors aren't competition.
      In the west, the Rockets have to plays against the Spurs and the Warriors. The Spurs don't even have Kawhi yet.
      The east got better this year but you must be drunk af if you say they're better than the west.

      well last year the media decided record didnt matter anymore (even though it did EVERY OTHER MVP season) so we'll see how it goes this year, they'll do their best to steal it from Harden. I watched ESPN talk about the MVP race the other night and they only brought up Harden as an afterthought LOL and heavily favored Kyrie. Kyrie isn't even in Harden's fucking UNIVERSE right now.

And Boston out of the east just to mix it up again vs seeing GSW vs CAVS again....but will see cavs no push over either and both them and GSW usually turn up during playoffs so will see
