THANK YOU!!!! I got a new sim card and got locked out of my own phone...wouldn't recognize my google account or anything. I followed the video exactly and got stuck at the part where you have to verify the device and had to go back into both of my phones' settings and check the bluetooth and location and security settings, and make sure the google sync was updated..but it finally worked...took me about 3 days to figure out all the settings and everything that were preventing me from connecting to the other phone. Now I don't have to buy a new phone! GOD BLESS YOU a thousand TIMES!

I sure as hell couldn't get it to work one thing you should do is talk another thing it took you 3 mins just holding the phone from 9 mins to 12 mins and once I got to trying to sync one phone with another which you should say you need bother phone at the begining that I couldn't get my other phone to find it on Bluetooth to put that code in so I'm stuck right there this was no doubt the slowest video man it wouldn't have been five mins if you had done it right so thanks for wasting my time and I didn't even fix the phone

No, I used a Galaxy S6 on 7.0, and it worked. I think as long as the other phone is new enough to support the "set up my device" command, you should be fine
