"Oh my god, he just ran at him!" I was holding my breath the entire last game. Zain was so close to defeating another personal demon, but Axe just knows how to clutch; it's no wonder he's been Top 10 for so long. Let's go Axe!
Zain getting hit by those t jolts during the fire transformation was actually huge. Not only did Axe get Zain closer to up smash kill percent, but it allowed that down tilt to setup a tech chase
Adam Ice tested it on a setup just now in training mode set the percent to 72 to account for any staling then dtilted which put Marth at 79 then I hit an up smash (cstick 20XX) with DI away with Marth under the left plat and it still KO'D. It looked like he's a goner, but I know 20XX is weird with training mode human di so take this with a grain of salt. There's a smash board that has a lot of fox up smash percents I learned so I could KO earlier and Marth on pokemon kos at 76% but with di it's max about 80% and Pika's is stronger so I'm pretty sure it'd KO without the jolts if he connected the dtilt. Sfat is horrible at picking the ko'ing move and that's the reason why he loses a ton he'll go for a Bair when up air would ko or to punish a landed recovery he does an up tilt when up smash kos the player who knows their percentages the best would be Leffen as far as I can tell (fox main bias)
hmm, i’m definitely gonna be on the lookout for the next set between these 2. Zain is getting super close but part of me feels like Axe will adjust and continue to be a bracket demon for Zain
If you look at the ledgedash d-tilt Axe did frame by frame, he literally hits Zain on the same frame he would've been grabbed. Melee and Axe are siiiiick
Don't get me wrong Tai knows his shit but he has the most religious belief in Marth I've ever seen. Haha he fights any notion of pika having any advantage in the match up. Like it's ok Marth can struggle in a match up. And watch the moment someone takes a set off axe with Marth people are gonna be like, "see I told you he wins the MU!" Immediately neglecting the years of dominance. Idk man I feel like some people in the community don't give "mid-teir" characters enough credit when they do good. They always wanna blame the other player for not playing the MU right . Anyway I think at this point the match up looks pretty even to me. But that's just what I think, the fuck do I know haha
GotAXE, Used his training witht Mang0ku, to land a surprise jolt on a stage transformation, to set up fot a desperate star KO against Zain-geta, in neutral. Find out what happens on the next episode of Super Melee Summit Z.
Not unreasonable to think marth is potentially favored. Pika has been represented by a single player with melee god level ability and an endless supply of marth practice partners. Its hard for marths to compete in that arms race when they have to solo grind or practice with vastly inferior players. It's the same thing with puff. Before zain, hbox had dropped only a single set to marth since he achieved god status, but now the matchup is considered to be marth favored.
surprised there’s no comments bitching about Leffen’s joke toward KJH. Melee community’s growing up, finally being able to brush stuff off like that or everyone’s just come to expect Leff to be toxic, at this point xD
That ending was soooo annoying. Why didn't zain just stay near the ledge or on the platform where the jolts couldn't reach him? It looks like it would've saved him 20%~ and a much better chance at taking the set
idrk anything but he probably wanted to guarantee center stage after the transformation, I think if zain was too far away axe could've gone over and had the tree behind him which protects against fsmash
@@Drewnowitz Yeah I guessed so too but with marth it's pretty easy to jab the jolts. The way I see it it would've been easy to stay on it and jab the bolts to avoid taking percents.
what i found silly about the ending was that Axe threw out like 7 down-tilts before getting the 1 that lead to up-smash closing out the set. Zain is a WAY better player than me, and yet i would not have gotten hit by a down-tilt in that situation. Axe made it so obvious that’s what he was looking for, idk

Top 3* 👀👀👀
It's hard to feel like pika doesn't have homefield advantage on stadium when it's game 5 and Red's theme is playing.
Get back to work on the bully battery! We're almost past the pole 0x!
@@wesleychalmers7648Don't worry it's coming along
Zain feeling how Sfat feels whenever he has to play him.
except zain actually brings it close lmao

@@vorporal8764 would the up smash have killed? Zain DIed the up smash away so he might've lived right?

21:13 "screw this character" ????? Who says that after seeing something so sick???

This is like an event match against a level 99 CPU Pikachu.
Good shit axe
GODDAMN IT SO CLOSE
Keep the streak alive!!
woaaawww what a getlemen handshake at the end.
Zain should be going for tipper dsmash whenever he gets pikachu at high percents instead of dtilting from fthrow
Axe ran half a mile to take that last stock. Epic tech chase!

I feel like it should be VegetAXE or FriezAXE since he is the OG player like Mango
Zain losing two game 5 last stock on stadium
Omg good set

27:10 my dude wasn’t even in the screen lol
That's insane.
Hugs is so good at commentary wtf lol
Now that's it's 2020 Q4 I don't even skip ahead to the match. Severe loneliness has changed me.
I still don't miss smash player BO though.
i didnt know Taj was at summit, good commentary.
Oh i thought u were talking about the mewtwo main
Best Smash player By Far.
Stephan Fields Axe? yeah, i agree. maybe Leffen when he’s fully groovin, but otherwise Axe
Imagine honestly thinking Marth wins when it's been over half a decade since a Marth won.

Those T-jolts can go anywhere on the stage. That platform is not safe and the ledge isn’t safe either since he doesn’t have an invincible ledge stall.
