    "The way to do with cold - just ignore it" That is amazing mind power.

    What a beautiful sight the sun at 1:30 a.m., the blue sky, and the dark, dark blue ocean.

    It's odd to think that that was all frozen not too long ago, new fishing opportunities opening up perhaps?

      As the way of the seasons go.

      Perhaps, or perhaps the change in climate are disrupting a lot of krill and fish stock as well. 🎣 🐟

    if your rudder was compromised who would come to your rescue? could you sail without it effectively?

      If my rudder was compromised nobody would come to my rescue. I of course carry a jury steering oar.

    Roger, when it comes to voyaging, you have certainly shown no signs, of having cold feet.
    Ergo, it must all be in the mind! :o)

    Here's to wearing unfashionable outfits in places where fashion is truly irrelevant.

    awesome. do you have a watermaker ?

    • @cawfeedawg
      @cawfeedawg 6 лет назад +2

      He has no way to power a water maker.. he brings his supplies with him. im pretty sure his only electricity is a small solar panel and small battery.. but his only elec requirements are the navigation LED lights.

    I was a bit annoyed that while this trip was made possible by the catastrophy of global warming, you haven't said a word about it - and just at that moment you did. Thank you for the inspiration, again.

      Yah, before we know it, the name "Greenland" won't seem like such a strange name. ;-)

    No job security for Ice Breakers? Kinda scary to think of the loss of all that ice.

    Just get all rugged up and in the sleeping bag and then realising you need a pee. Sigh! 😳

    Shock, horror - a hero shot, and not before time, your modesty is annoying, you are the story whether you like it or not! Another fascinating episode of your adventure and world geography. Glad you mentioned the elephant in the global warming room that makes all this possible. I hope you are planning the Whitehills to Anadyr/Nome voyage (returning the year after) hopefully that's irresistible. Do I take it any kind of heater is for big girls only? All the best.

      Research ice core samples. There is no "global warming" other than the natural occurrences of Mother Earth. Al Gore is an idiot and a whore for global taxes for his own wealth accumulation.
