- A routine drive takes a deadly turn when a log truck sets off a catastrophic chain reaction
ABOUT FINAL DESTINATION 2
Locked away by her own choice in the perceived safety of a psychiatric hospital, the lone survivor from Final Destination lives in constant terror that Death is coming to claim her. She may be considered crazy, but she's not wrong. Death is moving toward suburban Route 23, heading south in Final Destination 2.
Meanwhile, en route to a weekend getaway with her friends, Kimberly Corman (A.J. COOK) has a terrible premonition ... Shocked into action, Kimberly blocks traffic on a highway onramp. Drivers honk and complain--until Death tears up the highway in a massive pile-up, with those left on the onramp narrowly escaping with their lives. But Kimberly knows it's not over: Death won't be cheated so easily. Now this random group of strangers, who were all meant to die in the freeway disaster, must join Kimberly in a desperate attempt to stay alive.

Because of this film, no one drivees behind a logging truck.
I have been uncomfortable driving behind, in front or beside a truck of any kind. This was long before I found the Final Destination franchise. I don't need a thriller to tell me what I already know.
AT ALL!!!
It's literally common sense
True
I do
I love how every car blows up like a Bob-omb when touched.
I guess the movie car industry builds all their stock out of unrefined explodium.
I thought the same.
I was half expecting to see someone survive in a car that is complete intact, get out, and then rest their hand on the top only for it to explode like a nuke.
That is kind of funny one of the cars just get scraped by a log and explodes. (Edit) did expect this to blow up 😳
And they’re not even Ford Pintos 🤭
Guys, you must consider that this movie is from 2003.
For those of you have never seen this scene before, THIS is the reason why you'll find a lot of people these days who avoid driving behind log trucks on a motorway. Most of us saw this film 22 years ago and it's given us PTSD ever since
Even new generation's never drive behind log trucks, that's how ptsd inducing this scene was
I was learning how to drive when this movie was making the rounds. I learned more from this movie than I ever have in any school.
22 YEARS?!?!!!!!
@bobbianderson8961 this movie was 2003, someone who saw this in theaters would be at least in their 30s to 40s now. that generational trauma effect is real tho, I don't drive behind log/beam carrying trucks if I can help it despite not seeing this scene myself till recently.
For those who never watched Final Destination before: this is the most merciful Final Destination incident.
That's right, I'm still not over the scene where the mechanic was almost slammed through the fence right in front of the main character
*I always thought it was the closing credits*
but its the most memorable/relatable since its the most common everyday situation for all of us vehicle, road, transportation and/or travel, all you need is some random truck hauling logs and you'll remember. its effect still shows in a couple of generations
@setsunakoikogeki182
*The 'Grandfather Paradox'*
The most effective public information advert about avoiding log trucks ever made
Yup. You see the log truck. You know what's about to happen.
@davidcox3076
While driving a campervan I could see the brand name on the grille of the log truck behind me.
It read "AC"
That was all I could see as the bastard was tailgating me that closely.
When i could pull away from him it was, of course, a Mack.....
Even when empty log jockeys are dangerous as they get paid by the load...
the more loads in a day the better the pay.
Employers have some responsibility in this...
After this movie I stay as far away from log trucks as I can once I spot them
@Tim_OSK rlly
@JohnSmith-pl2bk Increasing risk to drivers and the motoring public with strategies that incentivize higher productivity is basically the cornerstone of all trucking.
The loggers and dump trucks race for another load.
The long haul guy can't afford to pull over and sleep because he'll miss the appointment.
The day-cab driver is racing to make sure the company doesn't give his route to somebody else that they feel would do it better.
The flat-bed driver decided putting on the right chains would take too long and he's paid by the mile like the long haul driver is.
And every damn one of them skipped their pre-trip inspection.
I love the subtle details they give like the bus of kids all yelling pileup, then a radio song that plays is highway to hell, then a little kid has two toy vehicles and hitting em together.
You don't know what subtle means.
@qers I don’t really grasp the concept of certain words so yeah that may have not been subtle
There were like 5 separate "HEY YOU'RE IN DANGER" hints that the pileup gives, so death practically is trying to save them before the accident even occurs.
Wow I totally missed that.......... ^o)
@qers Nor do you know what sarcasm means
Everyone who watched this developed a lifelong fear of logging trucks.
Ain’t that the truth
Yeah I agree, I agree
Not just logs, even those gas trucks scares me
I will always change lanes to avoid traveling behind them, specifically because of this scene lol
Indeed 😩
The fact that they're advertising the new movie on the back of log trucks is insane.
it's creative as fuck
They know what they did (scare everyone off of tailgaiting for the rest of their lives)
Well they were gonna use a plane for advertising, it was definitely the best choice
I swear, people who are involved in horror movies have to be the most creative people on earth 😄
it’s not actually log trucks lol, they put fake logs on top of trucks and put ads for the new movie on the trucks.
I still have ptsd from this scene. Never will I drive near a log truck😂
I'm not just afraid of log trucks because of this movie. I'm afraid of water bottles, pregnancy, and weed.
Me too. Not cocaine though 😂
No kidding! Every time I see a logging truck in front of me, I speed up and go around just because of this movie.
You forgot lidless coffee cups!!
Don't forget about dumbass blonde friends telling to to screw the basic car maintenance and keep rolling.
Ah, if you mix two of those together: you get pregnant...
Truck and lorries all be like “There’s a massive accident up ahead - I better floor it so I can plough through all the wreckage.”
I AM IN THE USA - AND IF IM NOT PUNCTUAL, I LOSE ONE OF MY SICK DAYS.
GOOD LUCK EVERYBODYY!!!!
@hiya2793 lmao, man, the AMERICAN DREAM!!
Every shot of the road shows its wet from rain. Trucks take a long time to stop, double or triple in the rain!
My friend was a trucker and this is EXACTLY how he reacted
i think it might be because the whole crash happens quickly but it shows lots of different angles
Best writers of all time. They made all of America fear one truck.
I'm in Australia and I steer clear of log trucks because of this
This was my favorite final destination movie because not everyone died. Kimberly had the time to block the road, and saved everyone but her friends and some people who weren’t meant to be in the accident. She was a true hero
She try to save everyone but no one listen what she says
Same mine too, Unlike wendy, she just kept silent the entire movie, though the movie was great.
every fd movie does this, the main character gets a premonition about him and others tragic disasters, tries to warn the others, and they don't listen until the disaster happens.
Part two is always the greatest one just see Terminator
@amenbest9641 Well maybe if she'd been a bit more proactive and useful than just blurting out "I saw it, I saw it! It just happened!"
My kids are always asking why I speed past log trucks on the highway and i told them "this one movie really messed with everyone in my generation.
Jaws with wood!
But now you have to worry if that log truck can stop in time in Winter on snowy winter roads without the logs falling off but the truck and trailer turning sideways and sliding and taking out vehicles as it does...
Lmao
On behalf of me and every other log truck driver or any truck driver, thanks for speeding on past us and not staying beside us
@Magnacore In my country it doesn't snow soooooo, sorry everyone
This is still such a well-done, effective, anxiety-inducing piece of filmmaking. Especially the way it's sequenced and how they actually shot this entire segment. The chain reaction of events has caused people to stay far and clear from logging trucks, trucks carrying long oil and drainage pipes. It makes them automatically think of this movie.
This actually happened to my mom and sister. In summer of '88, they drove from Texas to Michigan, to visit some of my mom's family. They got as far as Missouri, when they found themselves behind a logging truck. Granted, the logs it was carrying weren't nearly as big in diameter. Most about 12" to 18" in diameter. And not all of them were as long as the trailer hauling them. Sure enough, one of the chains securing the logs came loose, and they started to fall off the trailer. They don't bounce like they did in the movie. My sister was driving and was far enough back. But, these logs just fell on the road so fast, my sister didn't have time to stop completely, and other cars and trucks kept her from navigating around them. So, they slammed into one and managed to get over it. What made some logs airborn, were a few semi's that drove over them and kicked them up in the air. Before my sister could put the car in the ditch, a log hit the roof of their car, causing the windshield to crack. There were about 10-15 cars involved, which either got damaged by hitting the logs or hitting each other. No one was seriously injured, luckily. But, there were enough damaged vehicles that couldn't be driven, including my mom and sister's car. When they went over a log, it tore up the undercarriage, piercing the oil pan.
It was a big old mess. My sister took some photos with her camera, just to document what all they had been through, and to have photos for the insurance company. Like other vehicles, they had to be towed to the next town, which was actually a decent sized town with several mechanics' garages. They were able to get a new oil pan ordered and had to spend the night, while the shop installed the new one. Of course, when they had the chance, they called my dad and I and told us all that happened. They were quite shaken up, as there was really no time to react as it happened. Everyone was very lucky.
The ironic thing. In the movie, there's the mom and her teenage son, that are driving the tan Ford Pinto. That's the exact model Pinto my mom and sister were driving, except it was a dark metallic brown color. So, the first time I ever saw this movie, it automatically made me think of what my mom and sister had gone through. I told them about the sequence in this movie. My sister can't do horror movies of any kind. But, my mom decided to watch this sequence. And some 25 years after that happened to them, my mom could barely watch it, as it brought back such horrific memories. And of course, what happens in the movie certainly doesn't help. But, she said that's kind of how it felt when it happened to them. That they almost could've taken this incident that happened, aired on the news, and decided to use it as a way for all of these people to die. Or survive, only to die later.
Here in Texas, you don't see logging trucks. But, you see a lot of trucks hauling long steel pipes. And you immediately want to stay very far behind them, or just pass them and leave them far back in your rear view mirror.
It's definitely made people look at logging trucks in a very different light!
Glad they came out ok
@rimrunz1795 thanks so much for saying that. I still remember my mom calling my dad, telling him about it. And him relaying the story to me right after he got off the phone. I think it was after they got back home from the vacation, that they realized how truly lucky they were, playing it back in their minds. It's why I still remember the story so vividly, all these years later. Stirred up the memory of a friend and her sister, in a very similar situation that did not have a happy ending.
You probably got many scholarships with this writing.
It is very well shot. I haven't seen any of these movies, just seeing this clip for the first time on RUclips.
I like how they use no music except for some of the radio songs. That's a film technique that is good for building tension. Even though the start is pretty light hearted with the characters bantering, the lack of music is unsettling and you get the feeling something bad is coming.
Quentin Tarintino uses this 'no music' technique a lot in his films, its very effective.
A whole generation began avoiding driving around log trucks because of this movie
I got out of a speeding ticket by bringing this scene up in court. Told the judge it was safer to speed around the logging truck than it was to stay behind him. The judge said he totally understood and dismissed the charges
@Nightdiver20bruh
@Nightdiver20 I'll take "things that never happened" for 500, Alex.
@dynagaming2693 swing and a miss on that one
Bruh @Nightdiver20
Despite how futile it was in the end (as with any Final Destination movie) I admire how Kimberly blocked off everyone instead of driving off, trying to help as many people as she could.
Well her action caused the dead of other drivers that were not supposed to die. So that could pissed off death seriously.
That also happened in other movies too. The protagonists, instead of saving themselves only, chose to save others as well.
It is not real you know just a film
The first one was good because we didn't know what to expect, after that they were a waste of time because you knew everyone except one person would die, just like all the other slasher films.
@WickedPrince3D The whole point of these movies is to see _how_ they'll die next. Not if.
"Hey Kimberly, it's Death."
Excuse me, what?
Sure I can do it 😊😅😮
@RajabByamukamawell it was just a vision she saw if you think about it she actually cheated death by getting out of the car but her friends though died too
Got to love how in films, car engines explode with the minimalistic of force as if the car was carrying a ton of C4 😂😂
Michael bay: goooood gooood
Is a movie, they try to make some thing realistic, but it is a movie, abut death hunting people, and a lot of death are not realistic but is fun
It is hilarious how it just turns into instant fire 😆.
And no one seems to slow down AT ALL
Best post the white blazer hits a log head on yet that engine don't explode lol
3:10 The fact there wasn't an alarm blaring cause her seat-belt was unfastened dates this movie so much lol
No alarm like that in my country 😂
Exactly
Or someone has an old car also there is ways to turn it off on some cars
Kind of a production oversight since those vehicles are being towed around while filming and essentially parked so no reason for any alarms to go off.
1996 Chevrolet Tahoe?
Watching this movie has taught me that large vehicles NEVER have any sense of “maybe I should try using my brakes or steering wheel to avoid hitting that guy.”
About ten years ago, I was driving and a UPS tractor trailer crossed over me abruptly. Top of my car got attached to the bottom of his trailer. Ripped my car in half. I was entirely okay, thankfully, but I still remember first thing that happened was the driver hopped out and said, "What, you didn't see me?!"
Fool you literally drove over me and I was blaring my horn.
have u thought about how much more damage and death will occur when those large trailers skid and slide after applying abrupt braking or emergency swerving?
Trucks can't stop on a dime.
TRUCKS WITH LARGE LOADS LIKE LOGS IF THEY, HIT THE BREAKS THOSE LOGS GO FLYING FOWARDS INTO THE DRIVER OF THE TRUCK STILL CAUSING A HUGE ACCIDENT
For real. Just look at the accident near Williams, AZ this month. Two jack-knifed big rigs on the freeway in a snow storm. All the vehicles involved burned for about 12 hours. And about 10 days after the accident, they found THREE more fatalities, a week and a half later!
This movie made me go alert mode everytime I'm near a log truck
This movie taught me that trucks don't have brakes.
But do they have brakes?
I think theyre for decoration@cyberpleb2472
Ever heard of broken breaks?
@ყomblerone So all truck breaks everywhere are broken? Because that's what would have to be the case in the Final Destination universe. XDDD I just think it's funny. In fact the majority of people seem to be speeding up! lol
@LefeurougeIdk why, but in the most of the movies, they make the truck's brake broken, but in this movie, I can tell that the reaper/Death made the brake broken
A friend of my mother lost her fiance over 60 years ago when some logs fell off the log truck and crashed through his windshield. I heard the story and was always cautious of any truck carrying any load. Then many years later I saw this movie, the night before I drove down to Kentucky. 😮
Did the biker live ?? Or was he pinned
@Missluna1993no he died when his bike slammed into him
So what's your point 🙄
@mikrof467 Don't ever go to Kentucky...?
@mikrof467bro do you ever use your brain
Possibly one of the best destructive highway scenes ever!!!
I agree. They did a great job on the special effects. I'll never drive behind a log truck again.
yeah loved it
Back then when a little bit of CGI was enough and salvage companies were rich. Poor scripts but total wreckage and good kills !
i thought it was terrible. it’s like 10 minutes of crashing. does the movie ever explain why it’s so ridiculous? like, they might as well have a dragon fly in on a nuke.
@yesnickcarterLOL! I know, 40 minutes later the last vehicle crashed into a log.
2 is the best film of the franchise by far, so memorable.
4:48. He notices the chain dragging. But then his coffee spilled.
A pregnant woman driving, hot coffee next to a keyboard, a guy's drinking while driving, another guy's doing drugs while driving, a boy pretending to make toy cars crash into one another, your check engine light comes on and you're refusing to pull over.... Yeah I'm staying off these roads
Now smartphones in 2025.
yeah with all those unsafe driving behaviour..they'd still die sooner or later from their own accord
Yeah, big F even getting to the logging truck moment, this whole scene was anxiety from the beginning. 😵
helloidharbl6753 Yeah I love doing blow while driving without a seatbelt after a few beer. 🙄
I think a pregnant woman driving is fairly common and normal.
1:30 "Hey Kimberly, it's Death"
"That's real responsible!" she says at the drunk driver as she puts her seatbelt on for the first time while driving on on the highway 😂😂
😅😅 they need to show this at the dmv jk
This is the edited version that takes out the impact of the entire scene. The Gore, even over the top is what makes this scene so much more viseral.
Ya decía yo que le faltaban escenas a esta parte de la película.
I thought it was missing things.
Missing the brain pie stuck to the back of the log after it passes through the sheriff’s car
@ferneyp try english
RUclips censoring is going bad
I will fucking never drive behind a truck with logs.
I never noticed this before but im pretty sure when her dad calls her he says "hi, its death" not "hi its dad". Crazy little detail they put in there
They do that in every Final Destination film, anytime when the actual deaths(not the vision) happen, whenever you see the wind just before the deaths happen, there’s always a skull that forms for a millisecond, it’s most noticeable in the first film, the shower death scene
And that kid in car, playing and colliding exactly same 2 toys.
@ That one was just a coincidence
Yeah, no one mentions the kid crashing his toys. It's another part of the premonition.
Everything is connected with these movies that’s what makes them so fun
No joke, that thing with the water bottle happened to me. Fortunately I was going slowly, backing up from my garage. I was lucky nothing serious happened but since then I decided to stop drinking in the car. Also, my driving instructor showed us this scene to show us the dangers of reckless driving
It's not that there's a problem with drinking in your car, it's people who carelessly throw trash on their floorboards. Back in the day older cars didn't really have partitions between the driver and passenger, everything was bench seating, so any garbage thrown on the floors would end up rolling around and there have been MANY documented cases of things like this happening.
Our neighbor in the 1990s had this happen too. It was a pretty bad accident, though no one died. The guy was an alcoholic and IIRC it was a beer/vodka bottlerollin around the car.
THAT KID WITH THE CARS FORESHADOWED A VISION
They should make a movie, and make him the cause of all the accident.
@Will_Ing_2_TFS bros the grandson of the kid with the penny
@Will_Ing_2_TFS in bloodlines
@The_Best_ClassicHow would it be the grandson if the kid was killed
i love how that one dude ran into the log trucks exterior fuel tank and blew up like he got hit by a TOW missile
😅😅😅
I like how a trailer has a fuel tank for some reason
Michael bay would be really proud
1:29 sounds like "hey Kimberly it's Death"
That's what I was thinking!
I THOUGHT IT DID SAY THAT
LMAO I WOULD BE “BRO THE FUCK?”
I can’t unhear it now lmao
@Cattdk FR
5:28 I never noticed his body sliding on the ground after the truck hits him.
It's amazing to me that these films, while mostly fairly campy for horror movies, also managed to make probably the greatest scene in all of horror movie history.
I can't count how many of my driving habits were formed directly because of this scene.
POV it’s 2003 and your about to aquair a phoabia that will last your life time
It's impressive how most of this sequence is done practically, adds to the realism. The sequels after this became more and more creative and over the top but I think this premonition is the best for being grounded and realistic and that's the real horror.
Only ting that really detracts from it is all the cars filled with dynamite.
What i liked about the 2nd one was that you actually had a "happy end" for 2 of the characters. 3, 4 and 5 (it was actually the 1first one though) just killed the remaining survivors at the end of the movie. Here you have a clear cut for the 2.
Ah, yes. Every single car exploding with the slightest touch is very realistic.
@user-vi4xy1jw7e i mean thats what this franchise means, every death you can imagine of but exaggerated
@user-vi4xy1jw7e But that is the point of this movies, most of the death are not realistic are over the top, and even with explosions is the more realistic of the all four
The fact that most of this was done with practical effects is INSANE and why this scene looks so good! Real cars crashing and flipping driven by stunt drivers! Screw CGI crap! I miss practical effects! Especially in horror and sci-fi films!
I think they shot it twice one with the accident and then another time without it
The special and practical effects in this movie are so ahead of it's time it's insane
The first one shot with logs comes off the "log-carrier" was made with Thinking Particles plugin. Thats all i know, cause i was wondering about that plugin in that time.
yes screw safefty...gotta risk people's life for your entertainment while we cpuld achieve the same results with cgi..cown ahh, not to mention majority of it like the explosions and logs crashing around was CGI
Notice every car had it windows down like all 4 fully down including the cars just passing and the ones in between like all the cars not one had there windows up
I love how ever car explodes in fireballs when it crashes...............
Been afraid of a water bottle blocking my brake pedal ever since.
There's a lot I appreciate about this opening scene. From movie making stuff, like how a lot of this is done with practical effects which I think adds a lot to the weight and spectacle of the scene. To the "commentary" on unsafe driving as we have a ton of people building up the disaster by being really reckless and careless while driving that can (and have) lead to real world tragedy, things to be mindful of while driving. To our main character demonstrating early in the film she has a "hero spirit", even if it gets her in trouble, upsets her friends, the people around her, she isn't passive and actively blocks everyone else from driving past her realizing all of their lives are in danger and choosing to put saving lives over what others will think of her. It's honestly just a great opening sequence to the second Final Destination movie.
Makes it more satisfying as well that shes canonically the only Protagonist to not just survive her movie, but to legitimately get uncursed.
Almost all other characters in the series are so passive, like "oh no, my best friend just died. Anyway..."
Amen amen!!!!
Th sequencing in this downright terrifying
Imagine you save other people, but your friends 😢
the guilt would stay forever
very lonely feeling
Doesn’t matter cuz they’re marked for death, they would’ve died another way a few days after.
Tbh those friends sucked though I can’t lie (expect for the girl, she at least tried to calm her down meanwhile the others were worried about the weed lol)
2:17 no the car is NOT gonna be fine, a blinking check engine light is the car telling you to stop driving immediately.
most of the time it's the oxygen sensor. You can safely drive to the repair shop if it is.
The officer forgot to *log* in his report that day.
in her premonition you see the crash happen from lots of different angles and perspectives making it seem longer but at 10:15 you can see everything happens wayyy faster
Maybe is cuz the first incident, all the deaths and recordings happened at the same time
I never realized back then how enthralling the storytelling was. They really did a great job.
Never forgave my brother for showing a clip of this with actual gore. I was 10 years old seriously
I watched this movie in cinema and this scene still gets me... THIS is real horror!!! 😵
This is so unrealistic and so over-extreme foreshadowing with everything that happens in the "vision" she has the thought of "that's bullsh_t" just overtones any scary feeling for me.
I unironically find this whole sequence kinda bad written
It’s more comical than anything really. It’s like scary movie but with the actual intent to be scary but failing miserably
I’m gonna start a movie marathon of these films before the new one shows up this summer
Same I’m only a teen but il the clips of it
I didn’t know they were making another Final Destination movie to be released later this summer. That’s good to know!
@AbandonedMines11it’s out next month
So much excitement taking place for simple car traffic
5:25 What an NPC driver sees last when I'm driving in Grand Theft Auto.
In reality this would have been over in 10 seconds... I love how all the accident scenes are all drawn out.
Well, in reality, these cars wouldn't be carrying explosives and detonate on a mosquito's impact.
Cinema ✨
I think it all happened at the same time but in different perspectives since it is a movie
It kind of was over in 10 seconds. Not the instance after her vision. The truck passes them and in a few seconds the carnage ensues and ends. The part in the vision was the different perspectives of the various cars.
Yup. Winter is different, Ive seen videos of extended, chain car crashes on highways with snow and ice. This should have ended right away as soon as the first big explosion happened.
Very good cinematography.
Wonder how log truckers feels having all the cars staying away from them after this movie 😂
As a trucker myself I’m going to say they like it.
@Flosseveryday I know right? Feels good to be respected
The special and practical effects in this movie are so ahead of it's time it's insane
Not really. There were many crazy and dangerous practical stunts and crashes filmed before this movie. The logs were CG when they were bouncing around on the highway, and that part was handled well for a digital effect.
I always find the "it was ahead of its time" kind of comments both funny and dumb, because they hide the false implication that the present is always better and it was a rarity to have "good stuff" in the past. No, this was not ahead of its time, it was a PRODUCT of its time - a time when movie studios didn't over-rely on CGI. Practical stunts like this were already being filmed DECADES prior to FD2 lmao
Did you watch Con Air 1997? Jurassic Park 1993? I guess not.
Everyone was driving a Ford Pinto with the way they all explode instantly
Final destination series is on of the best ever
It fuckin sucked
I’d sue the makers of the coffee cup for not providing a lid for all that destruction.
Honestly the guy driving the logging truck should take the blame for not securing his load properly
Blame the logging company or the company that supplies the chains
@antithoughtpolice7497 It's not the fault of the chain maker. They were way too small for a load that large. And the trucking company should have redundancies in place in case of failure.
the school nurse: ice pack and bandaid will do you the trick!
0:25 - TIL Final Destination did a "ur mom, lol" joke.
This is where exactly i got my fear on those big 4 wheeler trucks
Saw this at the show in 7th grade. Never forgot it.
5:45 A Pinto exploding after being hit in the FRONT? Well played, screenwriters. Well played. 😂😂
Exploding upon immediate impact even! Go Pinto!!!
As a brazillian, i can not read this comment without laughing and i won't tell why LOL
@L0LS as an american I know why. it's the reason the car "pinto" was renamed the corcel in brazil.
and yeah... the smaller ones are quicker to explode ususally.
I thought all the exploding Pinto jokes were good form. Only years later did I find out the 80 chevy pickup I was driving had a much worse fuel tank record!!
@L0LSSABIA QUE ENCONTRARIA UM DE NÓS AQUI KKKKKKKKKKKKKKK KKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
the early 2000s where car explodes into huge fireballs after impact
This movie taught me never to bring water bottles into my car.
Fax I never have a water bottle beer my seat😂😂
I had no idea my fear came from this movie. But yes this is where it happened
Listen! This happened to me and I completely panicked and said to myself I cant believe I'm going out final destination style kmt. After that I kept bottles in a bag towards the back and dispose as soon as I'm done.
And clear my windshield.
@natashafarquharson958 OMG LOL
One of the most iconic scenes in film
This incident in this film created fear emotions on seeing logging truck every time.
I never noticed she didn't have her seat belt on for SO FREAKIN LONG
micheal bay would be proud of those explosions
Living in the Pacific Northwest means you see a lot of these. My dad actually knew a guy who was killed in a log truck accident similar to this. Super frightening scene, both in terms of visuals, mayhem and realism!
Safe travels
rofl
well at least that dude didn't get busted for his weed
the explosions are unreal
They could've cut to an insurance adjuster gasping in bed at the nightmare he just had as the ending.
No CGI, just great stunts 👍
For me this film was wholesome and amazing and
The lady that dropped the soda cans looks like iris from final destination bloodlines.
8:57 Dude was like I didnt smoke anything, she did .
I like the little touch of how she brakes hard for no reason in her vision but in real life it was because she was snapping out of it.
Damn I remember watching this on dvd back in 2009
After watching this movie when it came out, I swear there was a 1000% increase in logging trucks on the road. 😂😂
And 0% of people staying behind logging trucks.
i fkin love it how this scene, made a whole generation of people scared, or atleast wary about trucks carrying logs. amazing what the power of cinemae can do! also, i'm one of those ppl lmfao
Reminds me of McQueen Crash from cars 3
6:43 T-1000 feelings
This was incredibly well-directed. Wow.
I was actually somewhat surprised that her friends died anyway and that it was the other background characters who survived
She's the real: "TOLD YA, I TOLD YA"
