Hey, I stumbled across your videos as I was hoping to teach English in Myanmar this year, obviously the pandemic kind of put a halt to that. I was surprised to see you're still in the country. I just wanted to ask what the situation is like over there, in terms of schools reopening and letting foreign travellers? Thanks for any info, safe travels!

hey, government schools are still closed at the moment unfortunately. I work in a language centre and all of our classes have moved online for the foreseeable. I got back to Yangon before all the lockdowns happened so I was lucky. As far as I'm aware you still a letter explaining why you are needed in the country in order to enter as well as all the relevant health checks, so it's not the easiest process to get here at the moment. We are also not allowed to travel outside of Yangon at the moment and there are still stay at home orders in most parts of the country. Hope this was helpful!
