@@Texasbluesalley Yeah, gnarly groove! I’m in my car now, looking forward to getting home and jamming this. Thanks for the lesson, and the nice words at the beginning of your video. Great point and suggestions on how to support our fellow musicians!!! 👍🏻 I’m gonna look here right now and see what kind of merch you might have. Always like getting a cool T-shirt! 🤘🏻🎸🇺🇸
Anthony... your generosity about putting others first with this video is recognized, respected, and appreciated. Your lessons have always been of great value. I can testify that what you put out on RUclips doesn't scratch the surface of what you offer on TXBA. I'm a former TXBA subscriber and really got a lot from you and your lessons. I'm gonna go support some struggling touring musicians by buying some merchandise or lessons from their sites, and then I'm gonna be renewing my TXBA membership. I'll be seeing you inside the site soon. Thanks for all that you're doing. BTW - Change It is one of my favorite SRV songs. Thanks for doing this one.
Huge thanks for this lesson. I used to study this song years ago. It has a unique rhythm style that Stevie didn't really use in any other songs, so it's pretty awesome to learn what's going on here with the song. Thank you again, been watching your videos for over 9 years now, have learned a lot.
Props to you for your selfless attitude! You're a good dude and will do my best to support! Locally a lot of clubs and bars are shutting down so a lot of locals losing gig money 💰
Great lesson, and hats off to the pro axe handlers out there! Doyle Bramhall, s late father wrote the song, and Doyle does a great job at crossroads, with john mayer. Worth a listen. Thank you for the lesson.
it's occuring to me , how this very type of messaging, using his platform to help other artists through a time when the whole world is hurting,....how it's just a very Stevie Ray Vaughan kina message. Something Stevie himself used to include in some of his live shows, bringing others up with you along the way. I suck at trying to sound deep...I dig the message and I gotta think that Stevie would be proud that a channel and business that was built from a love for his music also walked the walk....
Yo Anthony, i've always been a silent fan, i rarely comment, but since we are on this damn quarantine and there's a lot of time for music, could you do a lesson on stevie's most jazzy songs? Stang Swang, Chitlins con carne and Riviera? there's a lot of interesting licks that stevie didn't usually play on the first 2, greetings from Chile, and thanks for the dedication:)
Check out his website where he has the gear listed that he uses on all his videos! Its super user friendly and informative. this one he used a Fender SRV start w zexcoil custom pickups and a Kemper profiler.
Do you have a complete dvd course from beginning to advance. I hate online shit. I would rather learn at my own pace and not have to deal with reading music. My gibson learn and master guitar course is just collecting dust because of sight reading. I fucking hate reading music.
That is a very kind and selfless message Anthony, regarding other musicians. Well done. May it come back to you many times over.
YES!!!!!!
Wow I asked for this lesson on his last video. This dude got mad respect for his fans. What a cool dude
Not gonna lie... I’ve been getting requests for a lesson on this song for 10 years. Yours was the last straw, lol. 🤘

Classic. This was one of the first srv songs I learned about 20 years ago …I forgot I used to play it , so hear I am
Thank you! I’ve been playing for years and never realized how you can add the relative key to the Chord progression… very cool!!
Some of the best Guitar Lessons on RUclips. Texas Blues Alley!!
Oh wow...helping out the musicians who are grinding their teeth. Mad Respect!
Killer tone again!

Man, I’m still working on those Albert King bends from two weeks ago... this goes in the backlog, again.

Doyle was the man, and Doyle II is also the man.

Half step down tuning as usual??? Nice tone. My fav song from the master
Aces dude!
Nice message there 👍 Are you using your Fuchs in this lesson? The sound is amazing.
Do you have a video of what gear your using? If not, can you make a video showing us what you jam on? Your tones are incredible!

man your channel is fucking amazing
wow would it be nice if tablature was involved in this ...
Anybody know more about relative major keys? Whete to find stuff on them?
How do you get that tone sir? Which pedal are you using?
Hey mate, can you tell me how you got the tone for the chris stapleton song you did awhile back? Would really appreciate it.. Cheers
Could I pay you too teach me to play the entire song including the solos?
So true. The "big services" pay the artists pennies per download. Ughh!
