I actually really like the vehicle callouts and the voices of the different crew members. A lot better than the ones in PC war thunder
They added that quite recently to PC naval, their voices are the only thing keeping me company in the 4 player lobbies lmao
Hope it will come to PC/console soon, the new naval voices are amazing

I'm very excited. This actually has me a little bit hopeful that warthunder will actually get better with their voices and stuff in the tanks. I hope that gets added like mobile

They will, eventually TM.
The devs actually answered that a while back that they ARE working on re working the ground crew voices in the same way as they re-made the voices for naval. So its a matter of time now mainly.

Hmmm I recognise that! 🤔😂 just another thing worth mentioning, I was playing on low/medium so that I could get 60fps. It looks decent for a mobile game on high!
As long as mobile has cross progression, this will be huge for the game
definitely won't, will probably be even more monetized than normal wt too
it's a different platform entirely as far as I know, so likely whatever progression you have on computer won't transfer and vice versa. I mean, they're practically different games. Submarines! The Yamato!
i hope if it is cross progression i can use my xbox changed to pc account on mobile, because gaijin doesn't really support those kinds of accounts :(
i highly doubt it since they stopped doing cross progress for a long while, you still cant even cross progress from console to pc
Not likely to happen, unless they launch it to pc too as a sort of "WT Lite"
Don’t underestimate how many new players this will bring. I’d strongly suggest starting “mobile Mondays” when it is released. (Also you probably want to get a large m2 iPad for best graphics, or a Samsung tablet that has a 16:9 display for best ratio)
This version of War Thunder will not play vs console and PC.
I wonder if it’ll catch the massive Asian gaming market and eventually lead to more players picking up the PC/ console version

@@finbarcarroll898 Nah, for that you needs lots of high color cosmetics something akin to PUBG Mobile, the reason it hasn't taken off here is cause it was geared towards Indian and Asian players.

Honestly, I have to say one thing I dislike about WT is the lack of voice lines from the crew. I really want the crew in tanks to speak more and announce when shells have been reloaded or the commander calling targets and hits on targets out as you see and hit them, all with the actual nation's language of course.

Honestly reminds me of WOT Blitz. I'd play the heck out of this. I honestly prefer WT over WOT but my PC's framerate in WT should be measured in SPF (Seconds Per Frame)

@@jeremie_avec_ie I'd assume it's because their pc takes seconds to load a frame, in other words, it lags the hell outta it
I love the voices for the tanks members, but I don't know if there will be individual callouts for every tank for a while, that would be hell for voice actors to make a call out for every tank and position it's at
They could make it simpler and just call out the type of vehicle, e.g. SPG, Medium tank, Light tank etc.
Once AI voice synths get really good, the callouts will get way, waaay more specific and dynamic. At least that's my hope.

When you miss, the crew screams "We got a moving target!"
When the target dies from a perfect pen or crew burned from fuel burning, the crew screams "target hit!"
When crew gets knockout, the crew screams "Crew incapacitated!"
Calling artillery be like, the crew screams "Artillery has rewarded us, Charlie, boom!" then a different crew says with a muffled voice "Charlie Boom!"
That's what I really hear with full volume in my phone

Day 21, we've seen the Sturmtiger and ASU-57 at top tier, Now we want to se the RBT-5 at top tier WITH OddBawz and Spookston.
These crew voices sounds very alike to the new navy voices on PC
I have suspicion that this is what the new crew voices for tanks are going to sound like (they kinda confirmed that in one Q&A)
i really really hope so they need to change these basic boring voice lines in the actual Pc game
Cool to see the later battleships and subs, hopefully this means subs in the main game in the not too distant future. This seems like a sneak peak at the new Ground voice lines too, they sound just as wonderful as the new Naval lines. Here's a datamined list of all the new ships in the mobile version that aren't in the main game yet, at least as of whatever version was datamined:

* (It's been officially said that they're starting with just German/USA/USSR subs, so I'm sure we'll see Japanese/British/Italian/French subs later)

* (Not sure what's up with the inclusion of a unique Fletcher-class, but apparently she was significantly refit for ASW work in reality, so I could see her being tied together with the release of subs to the main game some time in the future. Or some sort of "play the mobile version and get this ship" kind of bonus, maybe.)
There is also playable carriers too
With nearly every small ship set up with depth charges.. Submarines are pretty much a certainty for War Thunder eventually, that is if Naval survives.

I clicked a link a random person put on reddit yesterday, downloaded it on my samsung ( the apk. Its not on google play) and Ive been playing a lot, really fun. It has a lot of catching up to do with world of tanks mobile (ive been playing that for 8 years) but lots of potential
Now they only need to have it sync with your account and one might actually be able to grind in their morning commute.
Looking forward to playing during the winter so I can get a hand warmer while playing

@@sadlife8495 The issue is i dont think people realise how slow paced ww1 combat is. Tanks literally move at 1 m/s on average.
@@sadlife8495 We already have WWI-era ships, WWI-era planes would be amazing! Basically top of my list in terms of "big picture" stuff I want to see added to WT.
The voicelines are nice, I never understood why they sounded so calm inside literal metal coffins.

The voice lines in this mobile version sounds similar to the new naval sounds maybe this is a hint they plan on changing ground tank audio soon, and possibly air craft to.
I wouldn't bank on mobile changes to be carried over to pc at all, often these mobile game "ports" are made by completely different studios with different ambitions and ideas for the game
@@velvetcake5425 typically yes but I was just saying the audio tracks sound very similar to the new naval ones that’s why I said that and knowing gaijins history of using other games and mixing the 2s assets I just thought it was actually plausible

Gaijin and Artstorm is making a pc version of Modern Warships as well. Pretty interesting. You should cover this as well. Modern Warships is the only warship game I've seen do missles and do it right
how did you get that screen recording. I have tried to record some footage off wt mobile but as soon as the battle starts it shots my recording software down and deletes my files.

That first War Thunder Mobile from 2013 maybe it's the one for the Nvidia Shield or the ones with Tegra X1 CPU, but I'm not very sure

I feel like back when they announced it the processing power of phones and tablets wasnt good enough so now where processing power in mobile devices is better than consoles back then porting this game to mobile is possible with good fps and depth to the game

Hopefully they will merge progress, instead of grinding from the get-go all over again. Glad to see Japanese ships and subs may come to pc soon hopefully aircraft carriers and polish tech tree soon
I hope that you can link your main WT acount to the mobile, not in a way that would give tanks or anything but how like rocket league did it so that you can do challenges on the diffrent games and earn rewards for the other platform

As of right now it's all arcade mixed battles, kind of like World of Tanks you can have all nations on the team not just 1 or 2.
I wish normal wt naval was more action packed. I would love to play, but it's currently just so boring that it's not even fun. Heck, I might as well be doing work!

As some leaked and sneak peeks previous showed subs are in the mobile version and of course pretty obvious they are gonna come to pc and consoles plus proof to this is the submarine crew voices that come to with the French and reworked voices for naval 🎉

They have to make more spectacular realistic epic explosions and submarines with monoculars also many environments and maps not just 5-6 maps.. But yes I stand with explosions cause it the A+Z on battlefield games like these. They must enhance to give Epic and Realistic Huge Ship explosions and Huge Petrol Smoke like Force of warships mobile

When comparing the graphics to something like wreckfest mobile, a phone such as the Pixel 7 can run wreckfest max graphics. the displayed video of warthunder mobile here was probably on low settings.

Theres a surge of PC titles porting to Android, huge names like Warzone, Ghost Recon etc etc, but for me, the fact WT is coming is massive, its making me plan a dedicated small console to run it on a tv, a decent 3380 SBC will run this at HD no problem, its tiny, silent, and cheap.
