Leo Rising here, with a Leo sun bf and friends with Leo moons, mars, and venuses. I've also noticed the smiling/laughing reaction is the most common among Leos!! Aries will get angry full on and Caps will pull this very very stern face but Leos immediately laugh/grin/smile venomously. And yes, most of us will NOT give into the hysterics in public b/c that will make us look bad (image is so so important). Unless it's a very immature, unevolved Leo. But in private? My first experience with being angry was last year at work. I start to black out and feel energy in my hands and I used to cry when I get mad but not anymore. I get to the point where I cannot breathe. I haven't been in a fight except in relationships because the guys I dated were abusive and now I'm scared that I might lose total control if I let it out..I dont want to hurt anyone.

Yes! However, as I’ve gotten older( pushing 40 ) I’ve recognized this in myself and have learned to walk away when the feeling of anger rises up in me. It’s like an outer body experience where I don’t recognize myself. Trust when I tell you…listen to your body, exit the situation, and revisit when you’ve calmed down and have thought about what to say in the classiest way possible!
So very true. I’m a Leo and even my most best friend betrayed my trust and I had to cut her out of my life. Even though I miss our friendship I will not go back on my word because trust is like you said hard to rebuild.

Very spot on here hon! I’m Leo in everything except Scorpio rising, and it’s very rare I get angry. When I do though it’s a huge outburst, but it is always private and never in the public eye (I would never act a fool in public, haha). The smiling and laughing is also very indicative of kitty anger. And that tone too!! We love being obtuse with both being composed in public, but also making the other person read between the lines that were upset

Libra, with mars in Leo. When I get angry the feeling literally takes over my entire body. It’s crazy, almost like a fire is igniting inside of me. But it rarely shows on the surface. I might occasionally scream to get some of the fire out, but it usually takes me a very long time to get to that point. I mostly end up laughing, while acting very animated. Oh, and I’m petty af. This is hilarious because it’s true! When I’m angry it feels like I am verbally burning everything to the ground. And in that moment I don’t care about the consequences. I’m generally not wrong although my reactions can be a tad bit extreme.

As a leo I have mixed responses. I can explode on the spot as you described or I can seethe and explode later - Seething is extremely unhealthy for a Leo. But we are Kings and Queens as you know so sometimes exercising a little patience and 'self control' shall we say speaks louder than any outburst. Also standing back and analyzing the situation before wading into out will earn respect among our peers. Like - I can drama Queen like im on broadway but sometimes dealing with the situation in a calm manner makes people even more scared than shouting at them.

i'm a virgo and i had a leo friend who would look for a new reason to argue with me every other day. he would do something wrong or hurtful and me being a virgo, i'd just keep it bottled up and he'd be like "why are you quiet? why are you mad at me? you have no right to be mad at me.." and literally make a scene in class, while i usually kept calm and told him to shut up for the love of God bc the prof can hear him. also he'd make a dramatic exit by clacking the door every time lol. it got to the point where he sometimes flipped on me for just being quiet. i tried fixing that by actually opening up bc i thought wow he must care. he didn't. every time i tried explaining whatever he did that bothered me, he'd apologize only to do it again three days later. i was crying bc of that stuff every day for a while and one time i kinda indirected him in a post, which just made me feel bad. eventually, i distanced myself bc i value positivity more than anything.

I’m a Leo too and one of my ex friends from middle school took my kindness for granted and as a result, I broke her nose and busted her knee just by pushing her. Now initially I just wanted her to stumble, not faceplant to the concrete. BUT......shit happen and I walked away with not a mark on me and that’s what matters 😇😂

Omg stop this is so true. Whenever I meet someone and I know I’m getting closer to them, I make mental notes to myself on what they love or things they’re proud of, and if one day they do me wrong.... it’s all going downhill for them. It honestly scares me sometimes that I do that. But 🤷🏻♀️
