It's kinda nice seeing people warm up to new protagonists. At first, there was some resistance to replacing Snake with Raiden or Kazuma with Ichiban, but now both of those are just as universally loved.
It took turning Raiden into a cyborg for the fanbase(Myself included) to be open to Raiden, then it took Revengeance to really get use settled with him but then we haven't gotten a sequel since. For Kazuma we all had a good run with him and we had the luxury of being able to get slowly settled into it from Yakuza 4 of being able to play as multiple characters. Plus Ichiban is just so freaking endearing that unless you have too much of a stick up your butt or you're a straight pessimist it's hard to hate the guy.
Still less chaotic than actual convenient store in Friday and Saturday night 🤣 Is that Ichiban? So Suisei is playing Yakuza minigame all along Can't wait for Suisei to play the Cabaret club or Karaoke xD
