- This is my first trip back to the swamp after my "gator incident." I needed to face my fears and get back in that water. This trail camera was out for 3 months and I got a ton of sweet action.
In this time of craziness in the world, your videos remind us to take a deep breath and enjoy nature. Thank you Tim.
Thanks Jan
Tim, I would welcome other content, but please continue putting your trail camera content up. I really am addicted to these videos and I watch everything you put up as soon as you put it up! I have no doubt that there are many, many others who do the same. (That includes the gadgets and tools, like the electric bike.) Hang in there despite the harassment from the governmental types. It seems that harassment is their main talent.
Thanks Doc. I have 4 cameras out in the woods now so I'll have plenty of trail camera videos to come.
Tim!! We miss you and your videos!! 🥺
Hey Tim -- If you pick this up, know that we haven't given up on you and your wonderful videos. -- charlie, sacramento CA
Your the man Tim!!! Can't wait for turkey day!
Stay safe Tim and keep on doing what gives you pleasure.
I will for sure, thanks.
You and your tri pod rock. Your amazing at what you do and I appreciate you 💕
Thank you
Beautiful landscape and wild animals, congratulations.
In our lowest times our friends pull us through. Stay safe!
Thanks Sherry, I agree.
Typical Floridian: 😱ran into an underwater alligator “But that was just an accident “
“ bears don’t bother me much’
I love the trail camera videos but I will also happily watch and wildlife videos you post.snorkeling videos would be great. Thank you for all the joy you bring us.😁
Tim, missed having turkey day with you!💕 I live on the southern Oregon coast, so your video of the bayou are so opening up my world!! THANK YOU!! MY FRIEND 🇺🇲
Hey Tim! We haven't forgotten you. When you comin back? --charlie, sacramento
Those tripod leg Gator toothpicks are easy to replace. Hope you been well through the storms.
Thanks for the great content
Looking forward to thanksgiving dinner at the Hilton
All the best-
I live in the UK so seeing the amazing wild animals you have in the swamps is fantastic. Such a shame that your cameras are seen as problematic when there is so much pollution and destruction going on in nature. I'd have thought that they would see you as a great ambassador for the area!?! I'll watch anything you put up on the channel, thanks for sharing all your successes, trials and tribulations Tim, I always look forward to your content. Take care out there.
Stay safe😇scary stuff & love what you share! So cool to see
I dearly love the trail camera videos. I’m sure I’ll enjoy whatever else you put up. Did you notice the way the one buck watched the water. Maybe he also encountered that gator. Stay safe Tim. We do care about you.
Thanks Trudy, I appreciate that.
Hey Tim, living in Stuart/ Jensen Beach here 40 years. Really enjoy your trail camera videos. 👍✌️😎
Thank you. I grew up in Palm City. My parents still have a house up there and I go up there all the time.
Was just thinking about you and your videos, hope everything is good with ya!
Well Tim you can't keep a good man down, that was another amazing trail cam pickup, lots of neat critters, love the raccoon family. Im glad your going to continue and whatever you post ill watch because your videos are so calming and refreshing, keep up the good work.
Thank you, I appreciate that.
Hi Tim. Been waiting for the Thanksgiving video. Hope all is well with you.
WHAT are these lands 'preserved for' if not for the enjoyment of the public?
WHO says trail cameras are not a beneficial use of public land?
WHY put up the bureaucrats dictating what OUR parks are for?
Keep on keeping on. You're one of the pioneers of the brand new 'profession' of on line content creators and sho nuff good one at that!
Those of us home bound need Tim’s efforts to show us this dynamic terrain and fauna
There are people and organizations in this country who want to purchase and preserve land on tax payers dime but keep the public away. Conservancy Of Southwest Florida is a big offender of this.
I am glad to see that you didn't let the alligator scare keep you out of the swamp. I think you are correct in your thoughts about what happened. I was an alligator control agent for 10 years and dealt with them a lot. When the water rises like that it allows the alligators to move about more and they like to lay in wait for prey animals on game trails that are flooded. The alligator surely knew you were approaching but didn't know what you were. They will instinctively lay still when something approaches them even on dry land. It may have been hoping you would pass by or it may have been hoping for prey. When you poked it with the tripod it snapped out but probably knew instantly that it had not grabbed prey and gave a bite, shake and released. This can do a lot of damage when it is a big alligator! I always use a probe stick when walking through water with low or no visibility. I always enjoy your videos and hope you continue to enjoy your time in the woods and making them. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Thank you, I appreciate your opinion. I think he reacted when I jumped backwards. I think I dropped the tripod when I did that and it may have fallen on him which caused the strike.
Tim, I lived in Florida, for a minute. I, also, love swamps. You are my swamp man hero... And, I always say -- when giving a friend a new orchid, "When they re-bloom, you know you have a friend."
I am glad you are continuing your trail cam video's. For those of us who don't have the luxury or abilities to hike in beautiful places like you do, we can see the beautiful parks through your video's. I'm sorry you are getting flack from park officials. You would think they would appreciate you showing so many people their beautiful parks. Please be safe out there.
Thank you
Love watching your videos.
Tim - thanks for putting yourself in these spots and making great videos. I am so glad you faced your fears and got back in the water; I think you just startled the gator and he had a knee jerk reaction to being poked by the tripod! I am glad you have good friends to help pick you up when you need it most. Those are the best kinds of friends.
I would be ecstatic to see your underwater videos as I just moved from Palm Beach County to New England and the animals and nature are the part of Florida I love the most, especially aquatic animals! You have inspired me - I live more rurally now so I am going to put out a trail cam in the woods behind my house ASAP, especially since I found a giant turkey feather in the driveway yesterday and people have spotted bears all around town recently. 🐻
(PS - the transition from bear face in the camera to raccoon face in the camera was too funny and cute!)
Thanks Kathryn. I'll put some underwater stuff up soon.
Hey -- Great news! I'm looking forward to your next awesome trail camera pickup.
I really hope you continue with the game cam videos. I love them.
Hey Tim. Great videos. You have the best trail camera channel on RUclips in my opinion.
Link to Gator vid ?
Thanks Tim for another great video, stay safe!
Thanks Ross
Keep them coming! I love the orchids. I’m always amazed at what animals see/smell the camera. It’s a shame that places are banning trail camera’s, I really don’t understand what it hurts. You are promoting their location.
amazing. thanks.
Hey Tim ,
I love your content , thanks for showing us some real south Florida wildlife. The panthers are the stuff ! The bears , deers and the gooney birds with backwards knees 😅 its really great to see them doing what they do.
I've roamed the river swamps and sand hills between the appalachicola and the choctawhachee rivers in the panhandle all my life and I gotta tell ya , ya got some cojones bro 😅 some of the places you go are not for the faint of heart !
Remember , when in dought climb a tree ! 😅
✌️
I hope you're well, Tim. That was a crazy storm that came through Florida. Peace, brother.
If a Gator jumped up at me, I don't think I'd be able to go back near where it happened and slosh around in that water ever again. SUPER glad you are OK! 🫢😨😥
I have been watching your channel several years. Because of you, I bought my own trail cam and watch just my own backyard at night. Quite eye opening. I had no idea all the wildlife is in my own suburban yard!! Raccoons, possums, skunks, rabbits, fox, coyotes, ground hogs, cats.. even a turtle! Thank you Tim, for rekindling the little kid in me who once again watches even our common wildlife in awe. 😊
That is awesome, thank you! I've put cameras in my yard looking over a bird bath and I was amazed with how many different bird species, cats, raccoons, rats, possums, and other critters are around in the neighborhood.
Thank you for another great video. Truly enjoy the trail cam and the wood duck one was also wonderful. You take us places we couldn't go on our own showing the assume out doors that Florida has to offer. Stay safe ❤️🙏 From Michigan
Thank you very much!
You are a strong person back after only a month. Alot of admiration for you and what you do.
Thanks Amy
Tim, I love your stuff. I think if you do diversify your content to snorkeling and other adventures that it would make your channel even more engaging. Keep it up. I would also recomend upgrading to or testing a stealth ds4k transmit trail camera. The footage is awesome in a bit higher res. Im a huge fan.
Hay Tim, hope goes well with you and yours through approaching storm.
Love your work Tim.
Amazing. Lovely seeing the baby bear. Thank you for posting, I enjoy seeing all the wildlife.
Thanks Kay
every time i see swamp i keep praying for alligators on these cams
It`s all been said before but I too appreciate your videos. I do hope that you can keep it up. THANKS..
Thank you, I will
So glad you are still here. Congrats for going back to the encounter scene. Deep breaths and positive vibes!!!
Yeah, that gater incident was intense. This is indeed a beautiful spot and would enjoy seeing it different times of the year.
Hey, Tim -- Are you in Ian's path? Keep us fans posted, please. And watch out for flying gators. Charlie, Sacramento CA
Another great trail camera trip into the swamp Tim! Thank you for putting yourself at risk to bring nature to everyone.
Too bad FWC doesn't see the value you bring to their monitoring, especially the panthers. This is a good example of community science. Wonder what Dave Onorato, the FWC panther Scientist has to say?
Thanks again!
Thanks Chrystal. I'd love to work with them. I do report any unusual sightings of bears and panthers to the Big Cypress staff. They are always appreciative.
Excellent video Tim, when the guy asked if the camera was yours at 13:05 I turned on CC (closed captions) to better make out what he was saying and I left CC on for the remainder of the video and it picked random words usually at night. Very spooky. 👻👿👹👻
weird. I hear voices when I'm out there sometimes too. :)
that is all so beautiful ....thank you
Keep up the good work. I don’t know if you have the energy but you need to take your case to the highest authority and if they don’t help. Then it would be time to take it to the state officials.
So glad to see all the small mammals have not been devoured by the Burmese Pythons! Great shots!
Tim, I'm glad you are ok and THANK YOU for all the AMAZING videos and pictures you give us. YOU ARE AWESOME! Take care and be safe!
Thank you!
You are such an inspiration! I've been compiling trail camera videos since 2019, but I'm never in the danger that you thrive on so often. My biggest threat would be Black Bears, but my dog is always at my side, on a leash. He lets me know when he spots anything that moves! Keep making these amazing videos.
Another excellent video.
This channel helped me survive the pandemic shut-in and (mostly) maintain my sanity.
I think I would like to see some of the snorkeling videos.
I did some of that down around St. Thomas, a few years back, and I saw some beautiful stuff, but my eyesight is terrible and I know I missed more than I saw.
It would be nice to see more of what's down there.
Thanks Thomas. I have a ton of underwater footage that I will use to put together some videos.
that transition at 18:07 was superb!
Another Great Video!! U are still the Bravest Guy Ever! I just showed this video to my sister & she couldn't believe it. Walking thru the water 🤣 ! Its Awesome to watch. Anticipating what we will see. I dont understand why they want to prevent u from putting out yr cameras. Somebody always trying to control. Yr cameras aren't hurting anything. We do live in the USA. Keep em coming Tim!! 🙋🏼♀️
Thanks Pamela. I'll have plenty more videos to come.
I love his trail cam pickup videos
I'm very glad you're out there living on the edge barefoot and shorts fearless of venomous snakes fearless of gators fearless of ticks or bears or anything you are a real nature expert and I'm sure nothing like that will ever happen again just a fluke incident most of wildlife even the deadly one's are harmless just keep at it you're the man!!!
Thanks for yet another great video Tim. The Owl was my favorite.
Thanks John. It's always nice to see the owls and hawks on the trail cameras.
Just be careful out there Tim and don't ever stop filming. Your videos are worth the wait . There are plenty of places to put trail cams up and they do not have to be in the well known places. Keep up the good work .
Thank you, I will
The egret was very cool. The water was calm and the reflection made for a really awesome picture.
Keep putting them out. I love your channel.
Thanks Kevin
Great video as usual! As for gator incident just a reminder one step at a time and you will be fine. Thank you Tim.
Thanks Teresa. My head was on a swivel during that swamp walk.
Your episodes of Trail Camera Pickup are as entertaining to me as any binge-worthy TV show. Please keep them coming. "Be kind to your friends in the swamp for the weather is very, very damp" --Mitch Miller.
Thanks Bruce. I have 4 cameras out in the woods now so I'll have plenty more videos to come.
I am going to have to catch up on the gator incident. Good job getting back up on the horse!
Oh no no I would not be walking in that, no no no
Just wow! What an amazing array of wildlife you were able to capture! I thank you for your courage to get back out to that magnificent spot! I definitely would love to see other types of videos. Again, thanks for bringing the wildlife to us!
Thanks Morgan. I have some ideas for some different types of videos. I hope to put some up soon.
So sorry, we look forward to your videos all the time, but somehow missed your alligator story while on vacation. Glad you are safe!
Thanks Alex
Even from the safety of my laptop, I'm feeling the tension as you are walking within that floating duckweed! All the best, Tim.
Thanks Michael.
Hey everyone is Tim ok. I'm sure his family would know if something went wrong out there on the trails. Can't help but wonder if all is ok, him always being out there by himself. Miss him!!! Happy New Year all. I know you worry about him also.
Agreed. Where is he? I tried to Google to see if he’s ok.
Just stay safe. As for expanding your videos, I will follow you in any direction you decide on. I watch you because of your commitment and content not to mention you commentary that I can share with my grand kids. Thank for the lack of fowl words.
I appreciate that
Excellent adventure, stay safe! 🐊🦌🦝🦉🪶
I’d love a long clip from the video of just that rain falling in the swamp, sounds so peaceful and calming.
Thank goodness your ok. We enjoy watching you.
Thank you!
Good job on yer Repair!
cool bro amazing nature, animals awake in nature
You know what happened on your channel by accident cuz I was new to RUclips but I've really thoroughly enjoyed your activities and I'm so glad that that wasn't a crock because the gator gave me a chance or as a Croc would have not but I've enjoyed the material you put out cuz you seem to get more out of what you see thank you
Thanks Karen. We have American crocs down in the Everglades National Park. I stay far away from those guys.
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Tim for sharing these videos with everyone to show how beautiful Florida wilderness is. I'm so glad you weren't hurt by that gator. Pretty scary stuff!!
Thank you
Tim Where is your next video!? Please! We need to watch you.
I love your videos! Thank you for sharing!
Great video Tim!!
Thanks Sarah
I truly enjoy your channel young man. Keep putting them out and I will keep watching them.
Thank you Tom
Crazy where our passions take us. Once the swamp gets in your blood it’s hard to get rid of it. Look forward to seeing your “diversification”, be fearless and produce what you want to produce.👍👍👍
Tim, I love what you do, but would enjoy the other as well! The most important thing is to stay safe and happy!
Thank you
Keep posting Tim, love your videos! BC, Canada!
Thank you
Keep up with the good work Tim
Appreciate what you go through to make our day Tim. Stay safe out there.
Thanks Mark!
Love your videos, the baby bear and baby raccoons and the birds especially. Takes me back to rambling the back country of the Fla. panhandle in the 80's with my dad. Live in N. Ga. now which has a large range of wildlife [ some a little scary ]
Thanks Kathy. I always get the baby bears in August. I always look forward to seeing them.
Just keep up the good work Tim love your videos Howling at the moon cat fishing !
love you videos Tim keep it up.
Keep trudging on Tim! I know it’s a lot of work and dangerous and I appreciate your videos. The Ghost Orchids good to see. Watch out for the Bears, Snakes and Gators oh my. Stay safe!
Thanks Ed
For the love of God I can't understand why they don't want any trail cameras in those places. You not hunting or poaching the wildlife you are only filming it over time while the camera is out there. Your not saying where the spots are. The state & county lands are suppose to be there for the general public to enjoy and use. Not used a private property for the folks in charge but for all the citizens here in Florida. Your films let the rest of the people enjoy being out there while in their homes. Isn't the reason for our tax moneys purchasing the lands in the first place. To let everyone have the ability of enjoying the wilderness that is being saved here in Florida. I thought the lands were refereed to as public lands.
I agree Chuck. However, there are some people that put trail cameras out there for hunting or poaching so I see why they need to keep the trail cameras out of there. There's also the privacy issue and you're not supposed to leave property in the parks "unattended."
As Tim said, some people ruin it for others.
@@ShrikeZone Hi Tim! This is Noelle, just checking in with you after Nicole. No damage at yours or your parents house!!? 🤞Hope you are doing well and your parents also. Have friends over in Port Charlotte, thankfully they are all ok after Ian. Some evacuated, some did not. One who stayed did quite a bit of video. Scary as H E double hockey sticks 😬 Glad their house was N/S and not E/W, probably a big reason it’s still in one piece. Well, except for some roof tiles and one window had a baseball size hole through it. At least it was a exterior window in a fully enclosed porch/FL room.
Hopefully no damage on homes or body 😊 Take good care of yourself!
I truly hope it's another 7 years before you have an episode like that, and not even that close🙏...Love the Nature and your vids, Please stay safe💯
Thats got to be unnerving walking in water where you can't see the bottom
It's exciting, that's for sure!
I can't believe you broke into mr gator's house and poked him! The nerve of some people! (Grate video as always and I hope the incident doesn't leave you too discouraged!)
Good to see you back up on the horse. Like most challenges, mind over body.
Thanks Laurel. Unfortunately, it's mind over body then body jumping over a gator or a snake sometimes.
