I live amongst rice paddies, jungle and a small town in south east Asia, not far from mountains, and waterfalls, which looks very much like this. Including the small villages. Likewise we stop for refreshments when out for a drive. I consider myself lucky, to enjoy the tropics as I do. Expat.
Notice how when they're passing the truck the driver stays on the cliff dropoff side so that he can see where his tires are. How great to see this road again. One of my best memories is the trip down to the yungas.

Just saw you on after skools new video and they talk about this ancient building made of huge granite blocks in Siberia on a mountain. They said some blocks were 3000-5000 tons and crushed Baalbek. I’d Never heard of it before that video what are your thoughts ? Edit: it’s called gornaya shoria
How were u able to breath and function normally at 17k' asl? I always experienced a noticeable lack of o2 and I felt like I weighed twice my weight at 11k', plus the motorcyle I would take up there had almost no power at about 10k' with the carb leaned out. It's amazing to see these older vehicles (besides the newer ones) running up there at 17k'. I read where people use to chew on coca leaves before to help them with coping with high altitudes.
Its a common thing to have a ton on slop in the steering wheel on big trucks/vans. i think they are purposely made that way for some logical explanation i forget.
@@leemaples1806 No they aren't. The steering components like pitman arm, ball joints, tie rods ends or possible steering box are worn out. Nothing is purposely made that way. Steering should also be responsive to turning the steering wheel.
@@PainterFRO i didnt see the part you mentioned but from experience, its not too uncommon for what seems like a scary amount of play in the steering wheel. i agree they do wear alot and they dont really come made that way.

Oh man those roads are sketchy but i guess high risk equals high rewards because that place is absolutely stunning
Gorgeous waterfall at the end...
I especially liked the large face in the rocks at 7:50 - damn pattern-making brain.
Ha ha, I had another look, I see an elephant, sort of!

Nice 👏🏼🙌🏼
Gorgeous gorges!
Good one.
Looks like the tie rod ends are worn out on that van. Too much free play. Scary right.
Glad you saw Tomarroa today lol...
3:10 the way that driver was having to saw that steering wheel back and forth to keep it on the road would be too much for me. Lol
Adventure!
What a beautiful location Brien! How are they going to get people to that luxury hotel if the roads are washed out and the high accident rate?
Brian great vid I like your presentation. Do you know what kind of fish are in the river at the Castle. I am guessing clear cold water equal trout?
Something bizarre looking near that final waterfall.. Beautiful place.
No guide rails on the roads.. Scary if a mechanical issue develops.

No insects - quite disturbing. Since introduction of mobile networks 80% of insects have vanished. Fukushima does not help either.
