This theme just drips “80’s Who”. After the Delia original, the Howell version will always be my favourite. Brilliant job 😊
80's Who theme just kicks ass.
It sure fucking does.
Every one of them does, especially Howell.
@@FelixTheNoodle Yeah. Delia Derbyshire's version and Howell's version are just masterstrokes that probably will never be rivalled at this stage. I do hope I am wrong and the 60th has a kickass theme, but I just doubt that will be the case.
80s theme is hands down one of the best doctor who themes ever
Fabulous as always - any treatment of this seminal Howell piece is going to excite me, no matter what. Sounds better than ever :)
Never stop uploading your remixes!!♡
a fantastic mix once more mate, Happy to have helped you on the artwork :)
This theme really is the best
The Peter Howell era definitely the best this is awesome
This could not sound any better! :) Great job dude!!
Sailor Moon Crystal Season Three Is Also Missing Serial For Season 19 (1981) Before Tom Bakers Final Serial In Same Year
Sailor Moon Eternal (2021) Is Also Missing In Season 21 (1984)
The Howell theme remixer returns! It's the one and only Dr Disco from Australia! Oo wee oo!!!
..so much better than the 'new one' with the skkkumm in ...THEY will NEVER be accepted . ...Believe it . . . .😉
I'm getting a bass guitar 🎸 just to be able to play that
I shudder at the thought of another half-hearted Derbyshire remix with strings from Murray Gold for the new Davies era that will almost certainly be the case. They should just do a remix of Howell with the original elements.
But you gotta admit, the 2008 theme was pretty badass.
@@everettrailfan It was Gold's least worst version of the theme. Why he doesn't like the one of the most amazing bass lines ever I don't know.
@@ariesroc It's not that he doesn't like it, he just wanted to create something original. In fact, he mainly took inspiration from several other arrangements of them (aside from the obvious Derbyshire samples). You can hear some parts inspired by Howell's trombone stop in there too, just on a piano instead of a CS-80 brass preset.
@@everettrailfan I find that contradictory. You say he likes it but he wants to do something original but he's also taking inspiration from other realizations? Yet he consistently does a bass line that seems to be either deliberately inferior or he just doesn't know how to do it. I'm not expecting anyone to be as brilliant as Derbyshire or Howell again, maybe he's scared to try? The only version he did that was at least competent in that regard was his last one with Capaldi and even that is inferior. Not just to Derbyshire and Howell but Glynn and McCulloch as well. That isn't even going into his penchant for cluttered musicality on the theme but that in part came from Davies who apparently thought the original theme had too much space and was "empty" so he had Gold fill it up with music which makes sense since his incidental music taste was "too much music isn't enough."
I don't think he's been confirmed to be coming back and even if he did, he's made half a dozen unique versions of the theme, I'm sure he'd just do it again.
Who are the Doctor Who Theme Remix Society?
It is a Discord group with a bunch of "Whomixers" or talents who come to share the ideas and news about Doctor Who and Doctor Who Music (Most likely the theme title music of Doctor Who). :)
poggers.
Who tf cares
@@106tricey I made this comment two years ago, I was a brainless child then.
This is okay but I prefer the theme they played for the 7th Doctor.
