I love Rome! Visited in April and the Spanish Steps were adorned with beautiful colorful flowers! And yes, water fountains available everywhere. Don't be that tourist who fills their water bottle from the Trevi Fountain...oh my!
thanks for sharing these tips and the dos and dont's in visiting Rome im planning to visit on April and I have some of these ideas in mind . Thank You very much.
Glad to hear you recommend April because thats when I make two visits to Rome for about 4 days each time. Anyone stay at the Aleph Hotel or know it, love to hear positive or negative thoughts about it.
I visited Roma last wk and thr weather was perfect! We were there for 5 nights and it just wasnt enough ! I already want to go back. 😊 I watched several of your videos prior to going and found them very helpful. We did all the must see sights and tours... So much walking lol... But one of our most favorite tours was a bike tour of the Appian Way to the Park of the Aqueducts! I'd highly recommend that tour if people are wanting to see a different part of Rome thats not the city center. 🇮🇹🙂
Thank you for sharing! So happy you enjoyed Roma. It's a truly one-of-a-kind city. The weather was so good last week🙌 Hope you will be back soon for more fun!
You're so~right ,off course !! The best months are September/ October, or April/ May !! The worst is the summer !!! Lol. Too hot,too humid & too many prople !! 😅I've been in Italy in August in '83 !! Lol. It was so much fun ,but yea,way too hot 🔥 🥵 😅💜🥁🐉🎤🎶🇮🇹💕💞
@lydiawidyawatichandra9984 I guess it's nice ,but the best months are May,June ,September & October to visit Italy 🇮🇹!! Italy has train worker strike every year & that usually falls on September or October. Just 1 day ! But,if your day falls on that ,you'll have to take busses / taxis everywhere you'll go.
I watched your video as I’m going to Rome in 2 weeks, thank you for all these useful tips!! Your videos are always very informative 😊 I’ll definitely check your recommendations for Food tours! Italian food is the best!
Hello gorgeous! I am taking your advice and will be seeking out a local sim for my cell phone as soon as possible once we arrive. What carrier do you trust and use? Thank you again for all your videos and advice on so many topics. So happy i found your RUclips channel!
Thank you for this video, it helps a great deal. My wife and I are coming to Rome in mid April 2024 and we were so excited. but I have one question for you, in this video you have video of some one being served from a cheese wheel and its like a cheese wheel pasta. is there a place in Rome that , I know Florence has them but can I find that in rome as well?
I just ran across this channel and am really enjoying it and have learned so much. I just put a deposit on a cruise for May 2025 and we are planning on spending several days in Rome before the cruise Having just heard about the Jubilee year I am now concerned that this is going to be a problem in visiting Rome in 2025. Is it likely to cause problems with accommodations and just getting around the city? I am so excited to come and see Rome and I want it ti be a great experience
So happy you are enjoying the channel! Rome is in full preparation mode for the Jubilee year and I do believe it will be more crowded, hence the prices will be higher. I hope it will still be a great experience for you!
What time do people go to work and kids to school? My kids get ready for bed at 8, I can't imagine eating that late! Not to mention I would gain SO much weight eating that late all the time.
I just booked a nice deluxe room in Fiumicino, figured it would be nice living close to the airport. Me and my GF are visiting 3 days in the beginning/middle of june. First time for both of us. Is it possible to do the large attractions in one day, like the colluseum, Vatican and so on? Figured it would be really cool to visit Pompeii as well 😊
Great video. Thanks for the tips. Planning to travel for the first time in Rome in November 2024 on a budget , can you recommend a place to stay? Thanks . PS. Food tours- how many people in the group?
Hi, I want to visit Italy in May 2025 for my birthday. But so does many members of my family. I saw a company, Perillo tours, that can do an itinerary for us. Their prices will vary because they don't know how much the flight will cost when they open spots. If we can all get on one flight, can you make an itinerary for us once we arrive to Rome? Including transportation. Thank you in advance.
How is November in Rome? Anastasia what other city would u recommend adding to your trip to Italy. I definitely want to do Rome. What other city would you recommend? I have 8 days to travel.
Depends on which part of November. It tends to rain often the second half, so it's not the most ideal time unless you don't mind rain. For 8 days in Italy I would add Florence or you can do Naples and Amalfi Coast. It depends on a lot of different things - you preferences, budget, time of the year, etc.
I am planning to visit rome in June. I am looking for recommendations where to stay. I prefer airbnb, and am thinking of staying on trastevere or testaccio. Heard great things I am just concerned about distance to attractions and if it is too far. I visited rome many years ago and stayed down town and it was just way too hectic. i was close to everything but a bit too much stimulation. i am also going to rent a car when i leave as i plan to drive down the coast and explore so would be great if there is an easy exit and dont get stuck in traffic on my way out of the city. Any thoughts or recommendations?
I will be happy to help you with the planning process and answer all of your questions. Please feel free to book a consultation with me following this link fabulousvita.com/product/trip-consultation/
Do you have recommendation eSIM for around Europe especially Italy ? I have seen your RUclips said Iliad , but my first landing is in Amsterdam . From what I've researched we can't buy Iliad from website

It is said that one Pope once remarked, about visiting Rome:"On week - good! One month - even better! One year - FAR too short time!
@@johanmolin3213 I'd have to say I agree with that sentiment. It truly is a magical place.

You can pay with the card in most stores/restaurants. But I would still have some cash on your just in case.

Not at all😊
@@StayFabulousTL OK. Cool ! Good to know !! Because I am gonna try to travel there in the very near future with my mom !!! 😆👍👍💜🥁🐉🎤🎶✈️🇮🇹💕💞
Will the construction cause some of the sites to close??? 😬
Hopefully not! But I will keep you guys posted!
what's the fixed rate for the taxis ?
From FCO its currently 50 euros

To be honest, I have not tried eSIM yet, so I cannot say if it works well in Italy. I know most Italians still use "regular" sims.
I've used holafly esim in Ireland last year and it was great..easy to use and it was 10 days.
I've visited Rome in March and another time in October. This will be our first time in mid July (I can't change the date), any recommendations?
It depends on where you are going in July, big cities vs small towns, mountains vs the beach, etc.
What about November?
If you don't mind rain - November is a good time to visit as there will be less crowds and accommodations will be cheaper (second part of November.)
