  • Barbeque Sauce
    1 1/2 cups tomato ketchup
    1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
    1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
    3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
    2 Tbsp yellow mustard
    1 Tbsp paprika or to taste
    2 tsp onion powder
    1 tsp ground black pepper, or to taste
    4 garlic cloves, minced
    1/2 cup water
    *** OPTIONAL...
    corn starch equal parts with water make slurry add to BBQ sauce to thicken
    Directions
    Combine all ingredients in a saucepan, bring to a boil then lower the heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
    Add more sugar or seasonings to taste if desired, then remove from heat. Cool completely to room temperature then cover and store in the refrigerator up to 2 weeks
    Teriyaki Sauce
    Ingredients
    1 cup water
    ¼ cup soy sauce
    5 teaspoons packed brown sugar
    1 tablespoon honey, or more to taste
    ½ teaspoon ground ginger
    ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
    2 tablespoons cornstarch
    ¼ cup cold water
    Directions
    Gather all ingredients.
    Combine 1 cup water, soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, ginger, and garlic powder in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook until nearly heated through, about 1 minute.
    Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cold water together in a cup; stir until dissolved. Add to the saucepan.
    Cook and stir sauce until thickened, 5 to 7 minutes.

    I like to cut the corn off the cob or buy a package of frozen corn and actually add barbecue sauce to it. It’s really super good. 6:38

      @@withoutlimitsbudgets64052 Ive done that as well that is so yummy. I discovered this accidentally because I was mixing it on my plate and really I liked it.

    That's how l have made potato salad for 50 some years without Miracle Whip and relish. That's about to change.....will use both next time! I made potato salad yesterday but put too much dressing in! I need more patience and need to add a little at a time like you do. You brings tears of joy my eyes. I have never followed someone that makes masterpieces out of everything you cook. Can't wait to make your kebobs! A very festive celebration! ❤
