Installing Gravis Ultrasound drivers in dosbox

  • I assume that all sound drivers and other drivers work this way, if i find something new i'll make a tutorial for it.

    I successfully set up DOSBox to emulate Gravis Ultrasound on one of the classic DOS games that I own a copy of, which is “Raptor: Call of the Shadows.” In fact, I used the following audio settings for “Raptor” below.
    Music: Gravis Ultrasound
    Sound Effects: Sound Blaster
    For some reason, the sound effects sound and feel more immersive and more stereophonic with the Sound Blaster setting.

    MK2 and Super Street Fighter II TURBO looks really better!

    Unfortunately it doesn't work. I can only play the midi files provided with the GUS drivers. =P

    FastTracker 2 uses Gravis Ultrasound.

    You don't even need to do that ... at least not for 98% of all games which use the GUS.
    Also video prolly isn't the best choice for a tutorial like this.
