Rich, I’m a long time viewer of yours since season 0 of apex and your first pathfinder 20bomb with 1 game played and I want to say how much I enjoy your humorous editing and how it’s bar none to others. It’s why I first subbed and have been for 5 years.
Think of his Q as like either like cutting off areas of the map like ash's Q, it doesn't always have to lock on. Also use it when pushing someone low to get them out of cover and or if they ran away as a way to knock them 😊
When I play ballistic, I prefer doubling down on his tac, perk-wise, with two charges of it lasting three times the normal duration, you can gain a good advantage in most 1v1s. Still, a good bamboozle or a Newcastle shield are but a few of many other legend abilities that can give you the same or even better advantages, so yeah, ballistic is just for fun!
Apparently you fire the one gun twice as fast for the time you have your tactical out. You do have half the ammo tho for that time so as long as you use it quickly you can tac and shoot without issue
Not sure if you’re aware since you don’t play him much but you can cancel the tac when you’re holding it out by climbing up a wall and letting go during the wall climb animation. It also works with maggies drill as well
45 in his sling its like having quickdraw back with hammer points plus the extra straif speed on top of the bonus for it being a handgun I'm a bang main and love the 45 so when he gives the ult to me plus my double time kicks in still its insanely fun got a few squad wipes because of it
Apex has gotten stale for me as I'm generally greatly out skilled in most of my matches. So to bring some life back into the game I also started the 1000 kill per legend challenge and I'm pretty stoked to know you also don't enjoy kill grinding with Ballistic. Cheers and thanks for the idea.

I honestly think ballistic is the strongest character in the game at the minute if you use him right. Especially because if you land on mozams and put it straight in your sling, you get the double guns straight away
Do you mean when he aims up with it? Because that actually helps you hit more often with Ballistic tactical since aiming up makes the bullet fly higher instead of straight ahead. That way you have less chance of hitting cover, etc.
Yes exactly. That’s exactly how you’re supposed to play ballistic. His queue is extremely awkward to use straight forward. I’d you don’t arc it, you’re most likely going to miss it against good players

My fav guns to use in his ult are the rampage and the Eva 8. The Eva this season for sure
