The Skyline is a nice casting, but I just can't get past the concept of an R34 as a monster truck. It's iconic in what it already is, and monsterizing it is too far for me. The Crush Delivery, however, is exactly the type of thing I like to see for this line.
The Crush Delivery is excellent - I really like those style trucks as well. The R34 is a an interesting case study on monster trucks. Monster trucks have always been wildly designed by nature, and even since the 80s have used popular car bodies of the time. Like the Corvette based Monster Vette, Mustang based Pony Express, several VW Bug trucks, and the Blue Thunder Camaro. So it’s just a natural next step of turning modern, iconic cars into monster trucks. I’m actually surprised we don’t see more car-based monster truck bodies nowadays since manufacturing and body production has gotten better where they could make a Skyline or a Hellcat body for a truck ha.
It’s metal - I believe all the licensed monster trucks are metal bodies, even most of the fantasy castings versions are nowadays actually…the upcoming Duck truck in 2024 will probably be plastic though, but maybe not!
I found the skyline at my local toy store few months later and bought it just as a joke because I don't have regular Brian's skyline😂

Is the Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler body made of metal or plastic?
