Taehyung actually recorded the first song last Christmas, but we’re just now seeing it with the band. “Cheek to Cheek” was written by Irving Berlin and sung by Fred Astaire in the movie “Top Hat” (1935) with Ginger Rogers. It was also recorded by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong in 1958, and more recently by Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett. Jazz is my vibe and V is my bias. BTS found me in 2019 (at age 69). After hearing Tae sing Singularity, I knew he had this in him. Can’t wait for more.

V’s voice is smooth like silk, honey & chocolate & envelops you in a warm hug. A big shoutout to his beloved Grandmother who raised him till he was 14. She had a great influence on V by introducing him to the old classics, R&B, and of course, JAZZ. He was in his element. We want more of our Jazz King, Kim Taehyung.
