Looking forward to getting my mill delivered. Bought an Auto 10. It's on it's way to the US from NZ. Hopefully will have it up and running by mid June...............
I believe that this sawmill is the fastest and most safe to operate circular sawmill that I have ever seen in sawing action. Additionally, it has a stable, clean looking with a streamline presence, which appears to require the least amount of manpower to efficiently and safely operate. In all honesty, I am not a fan of circular sawmills by any sense of the word. To me, they are an updated/reinvented version of the most dangerous original commercial sawmills of the late 1800 early 1900's era. Albeit, if I were to ever change my thinking on this type of sawmills, the Turbo Sawmill would certainly be high on my list as the one to purchase.
It's a scary efficient and beautiful machine and looking at the massive blade, it scares me too to imagine steel lodged in the log. The bandsaw in other sawmill would just nick and is quite economical to replace but having worked in a hardware store, I know those circular saws and very expensive to buy and to retool. This machine is two or three machines rolled into one as it can slab and mill vertically and horizontally. Very impressive.
halley0413 9837 actually metal is not supposed to be fatigued. What you have with band blades is if they are not removed before their time they shatter which is much more of a dangerous scenario. Our blades are designed to stay on. In fact we recently installed a number of these mills which all replaced the bands for that very same issue.
It cuts forward and back in the vertical and horizontal speeding up production, due to thedrive system, normally on a manual push mill the blade runs away when climb cutting. Nice mill bet it costs a bomb
Amazing the effort of developing all this sawmill ,Hi steve when you get your sawmill, Can you face book me please .looking forward to see how it works ,thanks alot
Where are they based in Kaeo as I have an old Vila and a Bungalow that I'm restoring and they don't make the same thickness of timber like they use to. Some of the old timber is to good to rip out so I need a matching thickness for the new.
That is an amazing machine. Hats off to the entire group of people that obviously put a supreme effort in developing this sawmill.

What happens to the blade if you hit metal embedded in the wood?
The teeth get chipped.
Obviously smart ass....will it destroy the blade, how much is a replacement, etc....how about some details for a prospective buyer.
@@cabbldr the teeth are swedged in and cost $5 us money.
The can be changed quickly.
Check turbosawmill page and you will see videos of them.
