this is why we should always respect our mothers, for several years, i only sponke to my mum about once or twice a month, then she got real sick, i almost lost her, we were very close for the last 2 years of her life, we talked every day some times 2 or 3 times a day, she was non muslim but respected my choice, she was called home january 4, 2009. May Allah grant her jannah, ameen
SubhanAllah...a mother's love is so great...imagine what Allah's love is like..he loves his slaves many more times than a mother loves her child...SubhanAllah!!
i miss her so much, i think of her each day, even though we lived 3000 miles apart, we had coffee over the phone once a week. inshallah 1 day i will see her again
Excellent message: We are so quick to forget all the suffering our parents go through on our behalf, and instead of thanking them for it, we look at them as a burden, and we leave them the second we get a chance. Astaghfirullah, May Allah SWT forgive our sins, and make us into better people, better Muslims, better children. Ameen.
this is so sad... I love the video... keep up the great work! And may Allah always give us patience and tolerance towards what we say and do to our mothers.
Please!!! It is called an ALLEGORY for a reason and not a science/medical documentary! Subhanallah! It is not a story about a bloody eye but about the relationship between mother and son/child! It reminds me of the verse in the Qur'an which condemns people for debating over the specifics of the story instead of learning from its moral teachings (Surah al-Kahf or Ashab al-Kahf/ The Cave).
I agree with u so much I feel as though I been suffocated in water all my life when watching this video and finally im free with ur message. Alhumdolilla we all respect our mothers if anything after watching this video I will respect my mother more. That guy is so EVIL .
wow I wanted to cry at the end...just imagining if that was me who did that to my mother, after she sacrificed like that for me. Wow, I hope I'm like that for my children, inshaAllah, whenever I have a family.
I heard this story before . In fact , I heard it was based on a true story . This story is not the true life of a Muslim Family . I was told this story was from a white christian family . On the contrary , Its a teaching lesson to all whom watch and or hear of this story . Excellent Job to the Editor . Thank you
Assalaam alaikum, sis, I just read your comment; it doesn't seem like constructive criticism, it just seems like a damper. They made a sincere effort, and it was more about the moral of the story than actual acting. I think they just wanted to add visual aid, being that the narrative is relatively short without it. Anyway, I hope all is well with you, and inshaAllah, we all will reflect on how we treat each other. May Allah guide us and keep us on the Right Path, Ameen. Love! Peace!
Good video bro. Shows us how much sacrifice our mothers make for us and yet we take them for granted. Now everyone go to their mothers and tell them how much you love them! Don't ever hurt your mothers!!! Again, great video. LOL whats up with the 16 year old husband!? haha im only joking!
The Prophet sws was once asked "Who has the greatest claim to me?" He answered, "your mother" THREE TIMES, before he said "your father." (Actual hadith is long and won't fit w/in the character count, but can definitely be looked up InshaAllah)
And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour. (The Holy Quran 17:23)
haven't you people heard . the moral of the story. that is what its about. and i believe that if the mother had the chance . she would give it. cause mothers are so special
What a burden to carry - how does a child/young adult/ adult say to a departed parent (or elder of their family, mentor), "I'm sorry... I did not know... Please forgive me..." and receive absolution.
@blackrockexecutive they did not film her face because it would be hard to make it look like she was missing an eye. Subhanallah just proves mothers will do anything for their children
Thats so touching....i though of a better ending like...after he grew up and act like this to his mother....having an accident in his eye....and even after all that laugh he made of her....she would give him and the last eye she had for him cause he loved him....aint that better? :D
I love my mum alot.....but we are always in dirrence point of view. When she is angry she would insult me alot by saying very harsh words to me sometime i get very cross. We love each other alot but no one can show, their love. its a tricky relationship. But i cant live without her.
Asalamu Alakium Brother, There is a program called Naevius RUclips Converter. You can download it from Google, and then start downloading any video you want from youtube; it would then go straight to Windows Media Player, where you can save it there! Wa Asalmau Alakium
@littlelion1964 We didn't take that story and make it our own. This was a popular story we heard that had nothing to do with Islam. We just thought it would be nice to make it into a video.
As have i, how does a young kid receive an adult eye? And is this allowed in Islaam that we should condone this act? Don't believe everything you read. Its a story to reflect on your relationship to your mother that's all.
you eye is the same size all throughout your life, so medically that should be possible. but the main moral of the story is the dying love the mother had for her child. all the embarassment she went through was just so he would not have to go through it on his own.
omg no, you cant. when you cut out an eye, you sever trillions of nerves the size of .01 nanometer. that would mean you would have to have tools the smaller than that, and be able to connect ALL the nerves correctly all in a given short amount of time. its impossible. what you saw was probably the connecting of a few nerves and the muscles. the person still cant see out of it. my grandpa was a surgeon for 65 years and is teaching at UCSF right now. i asked him.
how could the kid not know that he had an eye operation. i still cried. and the children laughing at a woman with no eye appearing at the door. what kind of little monsters are you raising. wheres the husband of the mother. i dont like this sketch u make me cry for no reason.
Hey Bastards!! Look at the moral of the story.. not the faults in the video.. This is something to teach a lesson to people who dont love their mom.. not to make fun of it..
hmm i see what u mean poetic, but i think they mean it in terms of our five senses -- our sight is the most precious to us, because beauty is first seen, THEN understood.
yes, I knew the story too. 1 comment for every story: the islamic propaganda is totally unfeasible medically bc of immunity rejection and bc of eye size (mother/child). 2- as for the original story, i always wondered why he did not give her only one eye.
@1musulmanin yes , i have a flash animation, if u want i can send it , sorry for the mistakes i'm french speaker ( si vous voulez je peux vous l'envoyer sous forme d'une animation flash ) salam
Very touching. I have no doubt that mothers are even kinder than this. May Allah keep my mother happy and bless her. Amin

Thats true, you can't give someone your entire eye, but the front transparent portion of the eye, the cornea is transplantable.

maybe u should include a sad song in the background... no need a heavy dialogue, just work out on the actors..
the eyes are the greatest things a human can have? i thought it was the mind.

Asalamu Alakium Brother,
There is a program called Naevius RUclips Converter. You can download it from Google, and then start downloading any video you want from youtube; it would then go straight to Windows Media Player, where you can save it there!
Wa Asalmau Alakium
but we must first understand beauty to be able to see it.
@littlelion1964 We didn't take that story and make it our own. This was a popular story we heard that had nothing to do with Islam. We just thought it would be nice to make it into a video.
Of course its the same channel 1:02 that's the 240sx from the video.
she's not allowed to drive with one eye...unless she has cyclops powers

This goes to Brother Abdul Rahman Aulabi
MMmm, nice idea, but it's impossible to give someone your eye...

1 comment for every story: the islamic propaganda is totally unfeasible medically bc of immunity rejection and bc of eye size (mother/child).
2- as for the original story, i always wondered why he did not give her only one eye.
