I like Royce but he’s twisting the Slaughterhouse narrative. Crook and Joel waited 10 years for Joe and Royce to get slaughterhouse moving to the next step. Joe was adamant he had retired. Even when the group came off shady, they waited over a year but Joe didn’t want to rap. Crook even went public to try get them together to move the group forward. Royce has always been stuck to Joe.

Lupe is ILL AF at his best just like Royce but besides final minute or so his diss was mid. You could tell it was put together quick. Lyrically Royce’s song killed Lupe it was just less direct and more few lines and flexing lyrically. Mickey Factz is the one who murdered Royce combining ILL AF lyricism and direct AF dissing.
@@superdopehiphop disagree fam. Lupe joint was clear and direct with just enough lyrical demonstrations to know Lupe could easily go there if he wanted to. Also, Lupe was out to prove his point and put Royce out of his comfort zone. It's interesting how Royce is framing this like Lupe overreacted. I guess he is relying on the audience not knowing about some details. Also, what Mickey did sounds like it was SLR 2 inspired. It was great, but it don't have nearly the same impact as Lupe's diss and impact is everything in a diss.
@@ImInYourBrains Impact bc majority of masses sleep on and don’t know who Mickey Factz is and he wasn’t the main part of the beef, but lyrical execution and pen game creativity mixed with being direct Mickey’s diss was light years > Lupe’s and this is coming from someone who loves Lupe’s intricate deeply layer skill set. Royce came from a lyrical flex perspective and showed how nice he was. It was clearly never a diss SONG but a skills flex with a few jabs. I do agree Royce not coming back to Lupe and Mickey and the way he’s acted on IG lives and certain interviews is not a good look. Lupe’s 1st diss he could of destroyed lyrically and directness which was disappointing as a HipHop head of 35 years who lives and breaths it while loving battle rap too! I think Royce knows he can’t battle rap with Mickey or if he could it would take a long time to have a doper diss then Wraith.
@@FALLACYix couldn’t disagree more. I choose to remain objective. Lupe one of my favorite writers and intricate deeply layered lyricists ever, but he brought his C+ pen game which was very obvious next to Royce simply lyrically flexing song and Mickey’s (the best combo of both). I def wish Royce replied to both and he’s had bad looks on IG/interviews, but maybe as someone who had beef with many in the past when he had a lot of issues (alcoholism, Jail for a little bit) he didn’t want to be apart of that energy, but then don’t throw jabs at ppl and be condescending on IG lives. I’m sad there was no A game lyricism + directness back and forth. They did two diff things in their tracks so it wasn’t really a battle.
still don't understand how Slaughterhouse being done was any kind of shock when Budden has said he's retired from rappin... like, it was over, nothing was being done. /shrug wish they could all get on the same page and none of this mud slinging happened from Budden and Royce.
Did you not listen to the interview? Them as a group despite what Joe said publicly had knowledge via multiple meetings they had of joes willingness to rap once they retained ownership.
Girl I heard him say something about he didn't even get a text or phone call... Like WTF are you smoking? Crook called several times and got crickets. I mean is Royce calling him a liar? 🤷🏼♀️🤔
I have faith that Royce and Lupe will figure things out and get back to the podcast in due time. I really enjoyed their dynamic and I feel like I can hear a sadness in both of their voices when they speak on their sides of the story.
Royce Da 5'9" always gives great interviews. He's mature and down to earth. He dropped a lot of jewels here that we all can learn from. It's a shame that Slaughterhouse are no longer a group. Hopefully one day they reunite for a song, show or even an album. 🤞🏻

Everybody retired til they’re not. Royce literally said Joe said he’s retired, but would rap if they had ownership.
I’m clearly not a rapper, but I still look up to Royce as a mentor. Solid dude.
You obviously didn’t listen joe and Royce wanted the right deal not just the first deal to come that’s bad business and they had to get off shady
@@Justinmjm12 crook and Joel are not obligated to Royce and budden timeline. They made the best move for them. Kudos for taking control of their careers. Project was 🔥too
@@Justinmjm12 you obviously didn’t listen. I followed the whole saga from the beginning. Even when Crooked had presented a deal, he tried to speak to them all. Joe called Joel and told him he would call Crook, but Crook never got a call. Joe was NEVER going to rap. He has said it time and time again. Royce for some reason is delusional thinking he would.
They just said the deal was ass but it’s still joes fault FOH
@@Clark910x yeah but all it took was to call Crook and tell him. Crook said JOE never got back to him!

I was so upset when him and Lupe had words with each other. They are 2 of the coldest cats ever.
Pissed me off mickey thought he did something
@@christopherayettey4390 Mickey Factz literally washed Royce and had the best combo of lyricism and direct diss of the 3 by far and I love all 3 of them as lyricists!
@@superdopehiphop he cooked him, but you can kinda tell Mickey was sitting on some of them bars for a while. Felt like some weirdo ish IMO.

Dope Interview With Royce 💯👍
This was a great interview 🙂
Courtney Bell 👑🔥
big factsssssssssssssss wait till you hear his new project
Royce, that's how you feel and we get it. But truth be told,Lu had you in a headlock with that "angry sheet" as you called it.
@@superdopehiphop terrible take. Lupes diss >>>
Courtney Bell in the building 🔥
still don't understand how Slaughterhouse being done was any kind of shock when Budden has said he's retired from rappin... like, it was over, nothing was being done. /shrug wish they could all get on the same page and none of this mud slinging happened from Budden and Royce.
Exactly it’s been 10 years. Royce still acting like it was something left. Joel and Crook made the best move for them
Did you not listen to the interview? Them as a group despite what Joe said publicly had knowledge via multiple meetings they had of joes willingness to rap once they retained ownership.
@@Clark910x i heard it, don't believe the hype

Royce Da 5'9 is fire 🔥
I have faith that Royce and Lupe will figure things out and get back to the podcast in due time. I really enjoyed their dynamic and I feel like I can hear a sadness in both of their voices when they speak on their sides of the story.
This is dope! Two amazing artists. Detroittttt
That Courtney Bell guy is a great artist… 💯
Royce Da 5'9" always gives great interviews. He's mature and down to earth. He dropped a lot of jewels here that we all can learn from. It's a shame that Slaughterhouse are no longer a group. Hopefully one day they reunite for a song, show or even an album. 🤞🏻
Naw I’m good. I’m pretty much resolved with the crooked and joel project. I don’t need to hear joe Budden or Royce ever again.

Fire as usual
Royce shouldn't have even fell for the slaughter house bait question. All this did is Open wounds back up for Joell and crooked to come back and rebuttal everything he said. Breakfast Club good for doing this type of bullshit
