I swore I wasn't getting anything this year. I had the 15 PM & the AW series 8 ss. Heard about the the black Ultra the day before it came out. Had to go to the store on the 20th and “check it out.” It's currently on my wrist with the black trail loop. I couldn't resist 😅🖤

I'm convinced MagSafe just nukes the battery. I plug in and since March 2024 my 15PM has 100% battery health still.
Granted, I use the 5W Apple brick overnight.

I upgraded from the 15 PM Natural Titanium to the Desert Titanium. I chose the Desert Gold because it’s a new design flagship colour, and I wanted something distinctive. I’ve had the Black and White before, but the Desert Titanium will stand out. I paired the Ultra 2 Black edition with the Dark Green Alpine Loop and the Black Ocean Band.
That sounds like a 🔥 combo!
I have the black titanium on the 15 pro max, that 16 pro max looks even darker

I went with the white iPhone 16 pro max but I still want the black Apple Watch Ultra
I think white would’ve been my fallback color but the black ultra was automatic lol
I canceled my natural Milanese band and ordered the black watch ultra 2 with the black Milanese. But 20 minutes later I decided I was too impatient to wait until late October/early November (est. shipping date) so I canceled it and ordered the natural ultra 2 with navy trail loop (which arrived Friday) and reordered the natural Milanese band. This all happened between the hours of 2 and 3 am Wednesday morning while I was at work 😂

That Black Watch Ultra 2 is fireeee. As much as I want it man, been wearing the Series 10 and love the much slimmer look and feel.
I can't blame you I miss the sleeker design sometimes. Apple considering the X a redesign prolly means we'll never get something new but until then I'm Ultra all day

Great video. I’m still using my Ultra1 waiting til the Ultra3. Having the white 16 pro max delivered but it’s delayed til Oct 2. I seem to be the only one who had ordering issues on preorder day 😅

I think imma wait for the 17 Pro. Just so the software catches up and gets its legs, so to speak. Hopefully nothing too new for 17 series hardware-wise so case tech can catch up as well

Doesn’t the black ultra 2 show scratches more as opposed to the original u2?
time will tell but at the keynote they said that the DLC coating makes it more scratch resistant than the natural titanium model

I did not get a chance to get this iPhone on day one and this might be the longest I’ve had to wait and/or going to wait. So long in fact, that I will get the iPhone after paying my Bill twice because they said I am a little over a month out and it’s still an estimated timeframe. I’m upgrading from an iPhone 14 Pro Max to an iPhone 16 Pro Max. I really like the ultramarine and was considering getting that too in a regular size or maybe Plus for my work phone. But the 60 Hz refresh rate I cannot do it. I thought about how I look at my kids SE when I go through their text messages sometimes just to make sure all is good at random, I am not a fan. In fact, I’ve considering bumping my kid up to Pro just cause of that. And I cannot deal with that on a regular basis. But if it’s November before I can get a 16 Pro Max. I might cancel it and wait until next year because the excitement would’ve left me by then.
Finally a review on the new black titanium band. Looks great! I get mine tomorrow as well as my black ultra 2.

Battery gains mean nothing so far on 16PM at least with 18.1B4 I bet 17.6.1 would have crazy battery life
also once apple intelligence rolls out I will be curious how the battery holds up
Yea cases are going to be an issue, for that camera control. AND you won't even know until you get the case

One thing can you let me know how your black awu2 holds up I’ve seen some durability scratch issues all over Reddit within the first day. I did scratch my natty uw2 by barely clipping my faucet. Since then I ordered the spigen and esr lip/rim tempered glass protectors now in black to protect it.
Yeah that's a concern that I voiced last year, time will tell, I will eventually nick it on something so stay posted for continued coverage. I gotta check reddit and see what people are reporting

Not continuously but it has gotten me once or twice. Overall I really like this band.

So just to piggyback off what you say about how you have 88% battery life. I too have 90% battery life. Difference is I don’t do any optimized charging or battery protection while you do. So basically what I’m saying is what’s the point of doing it? Clearly you do and your health is worse than mine by 2%. Lastly I want to see the ultra Milanese loop on a black titanium series 10. I have the black titanium one and I think the mix with that band will look perfect.
Our usage habits must be the difference maker, I have seen some pics of the milanese loop on the series 10 and it looks nice
@@FilmedbyFresh I went to the Apple Store yesterday to try the Ultra Milanese in person on my black titanium series 10. It looks better and is 100% more comfortable than the regular Milanese loop on the 10.
Just got the those ESR screen protectors it’s 3 for $20 and they aren’t great honesty they don’t have the black bezel and they don’t completely cover the phone I will never get them again I usually get Spigen they’re much batter. ESR sucks and it seems everyone and their dog is sponsored by them
I didn't snag a sponsor for this one, but I like screen protector so far, paired with a case I have good coverage and they were easy to install. I also typically go with Spigen I like their glass.tr protectors. Once these break I will see whats out there
