- Before I went over to DisneyQuest, I took the higher quality video camera over to the 4th floor of The Contemporary resort of Walt Disney World to check out the changes at The Game Station.
Since the new law passed they have gotten rid of the prize counter and put a few new games there. There's also not many techs and attendants on staff now. They have implemented a new QR code scanning system where you can scan a code off your phone and tell them the problem on a game.
Since I've been going the do listen to the people. The pinball machines hadn't been cleaned and not even a day after I put in a report all five of the machines had gotten a good cleaning. But other technical issues like broken spinners and weak flippers (Elvis) where not fixed.
Even with the issues, it's still the best arcade on Disney World property!

There used to be a mario kart GP machine there. Sad to see it gone.
Nintendo should make a redemption game based on the Gnat Attack fly swatting minigame from Super Mario Maker.
Gnat Attack was on Mario Paint too.
Fun fact: The Contemporary arcade used to be BIGGER, BETTER when it was in the main lobby area where The Wave restaurant is now located. This was as of late 90's, early 2000s. It was a kid's oasis late in the evenings, while parents were fast asleep. There was even a min movie theatre in the rear of the arcade...looping Disney movies. The Wave should have been placed where the other food options are (i.e. 4th floor) and the arcade should have stayed put.
I'm pretty sure I mention that in the video, if not the other one I took. Just made me wish I had a video camera then to get the amazing lineup

I agree with the Daytona USA comments. There is one in my local Dave and Busters and I think it's the best racing game they have there. Solid mechanics and track design that holds strong to this day. Don't make games like that much anymore.
Sweet! Looks like the only new game there was Subway Surfers... This might be a bit off topic but, what are your thoughts on that new Crusin game Raw Thrills/Specular might be developing right now?
Sort of weird how they have redemption games where you can't win shit if you play them lol.

Does the Polynesian arcade still exist or no? It was small and only had like 10 games in it back in 1998. T2 was in it but I don't remember the other ones
Sadly no. I was there when I went on this trip in 2015 and since they re-did a lot inside the Polynesian they don't have an arcade anymore. In fact a lot of the resorts are getting rid of there's. But since you're older, if you're going to the Polynesian I recommend you check out Trader Sam's Grog Grotto. ;)
