I let the cells vent the gas build-up for about an hour after filling the electrolyte without placing and sealing the tops - Even then, the Battery (YUASA YTZ10S) got Really REALLY Hot during that 1 hour - Glad i didn't fit the covering caps immediately after the fill as the sides would hv buldged & maybe burst 😅
