A genius of a producer grabbed the video and turned it into what we hear now. The producer then caught Keedron, and company's attention, and the rest is history. This, to me, gives it the anointed touch that it has. This is a fantastic impactful addition to Keedron's career. I hope the narrative advances with more open dialogue backed with our youth. The youth are the future, and I'm proud that they have a voice.

I’m a 37 year old white male living in upstate New York. There’s snow on the ground now. For the past few days I’ve been adding songs to a Spotify playlist that I have titled “sorrow.” There are times in life where you just want to indulge in sadness I suppose. The playlist is filled with moody songs and it’s definitely doing the trick. I put this song into the playlist, knowing that it was sad. I just dropped my 4 year old off at a private school in the next town over. When I returned to my car, this song came on. I instantly realized how foolish and privileged I have become. I have been looking at this crisis from afar, distilling the true sorrow of the moment into a consumable, safe experience for myself. For the people living this nightmare, it is not a skippable song. I am ashamed and heartbroken. How can I possibly help? How can I possibly convince people like me to wake up? I cannot congratulate Keedron for an amazing song. Instead I will congratulate he and his sponsors for their bravery and resilience. Thoughts and prayers will do nothing. We have to figure this out together.

I’m a 37 year old white male living in upstate New York. There’s snow on the ground now. For the past few days I’ve been adding songs to a Spotify playlist that I have titled “sorrow.” There are times in life where you just want to indulge in sadness I suppose. The playlist is filled with moody songs and it’s definitely doing the trick. I put this song into the playlist, knowing that it was sad. I just dropped my 4 year old off at a private school in the next town over. When I returned to my car, this song came on. I instantly realized how foolish and privileged I have become. I have been looking at this crisis from afar, distilling the true sorrow of the moment into a consumable, safe experience for myself. For the people living this nightmare, it is not a skippable song. I am ashamed and heartbroken. How can I possibly help? How can I possibly convince people like me to wake up? I cannot congratulate Keedron for an amazing song. Instead I will congratulate he and his sponsors for their bravery and resilience. Thoughts and prayers will do nothing. We have to figure this out together.
