this feels like a very well made mix between the JP and US one, going completely for the chill vibe, but also having that slightly seriousness that both versions have, and I honestly am loving it rn. great job!!
also, will these be a mod for Sonic CD Restored?
alright, in depth analysis.
I don't know about you, but the tile "Aquatic Submersion" seems to fit perfectly with this one. the whole song has that ancient temple vibe, completely taken over by water and so becoming a calming shrine, but this shrine is in danger of being destroyed by the hands of Dr. Ivo Robotnik, and yet, the song hides it by simply being calm, but both at the start and loop sections, it is the song telling you that everything may be fine now, but it won't if Sonic doesn't do anything about it.

I like it too, but I feel like the name works for the track but I think a like aquatic immersion works slightly better, it fits with the naming scheme as most of the time the words used are complementary to each other but are not too related however, can work together in a reasonable way, like with Collision Chaos you could imagine that those two could end up in the same sentence, maybe during a talk about reckless drivers. Metallic madness could be used about someone talking about a job being cluttered and messy involving a lot of machinery it could also be about a blacksmith who has a ton of gear created just lying around even even other fan-made names do this sometimes like Relic Ruin(s), which is very easy to imagine being in the same sentence. Though “Aquatic Immersion” ignores alliteration, which is also quite important to the naming scheme sonic cd, with that i think the best name to include for alliteration (in my opinion) for the level & track could be something akin to “Tepid Terraform” as it’s when you enter this phase of the game do you really start to see more industrial effects though that could honestly be just as effective as the name of a bad future little planet track. I hope I don’t sound like I’m trying to put you down it’s just it feels not completely “there” for me.

⁠​⁠@@ArichsonDang! A whole essay on a name of a zone. I disagree with Aquatic Immersion because Sonic CD has a “same first letter” policy and that doesn’t fit at all. And I also simply don’t like the name at all. It’s a stretch especially for a game like cd
