You can actually take the buff anywhere you want on Europa, it tells you an area to go to but it works at any of the drone locations. Also once you've destroyed a swarm of drones they do not respawn so you'll never be confused and activate a terminal you've previously activated.
I was wondering how can I do this, thought it was one of those the taking king secrets when you just kill stuff and a big baddy will appear, killing him will drop a secret weapon or an exotic quest. Kinda disappointed. Thank you for the guide as always.

Been doing these as i could - one thing to mention: if you die you can still pick up the buff again by defeating the vandal again.
